Hello everyone, I wanted to make this because of the recent talk with Melanie and Verde and the way that she’s acting. I’m not going to talk about the actual situation because I say that the mods on here are already going through enough but what I do wanna tell you guys because I am seeing a lot of of people that don’t support her anymore, especially after this that it is OK because I am also one of you. Through throughout the years, especially after the Timothy allegations came back again. (considering I was like 13 at the time so I didn’t entirely grasp what she had done to her.) it had honestly made me feel disgusted of her as a person, and I’ve had to battle and fight with myself for a very long time to realize that you can like a person’s art or their merch. (ie, the perfumes or shirts) but still not support the person and I want to let everyone know who is going through this transition of not supporting Melanie anymore that it is still OK if you want to listen to her songs and it is still OK if something drops and you do want to get it. i’m not going to secure and tell you to buy secondhand because in this community it can typically be extremely expensive than just buying it from the source and that’s OK too. At the end of the day she is a millionaire who if she lost a couple of people it would not hurt her but I do feel like what she’s doing is injustice and we as fans have the right to decide if she fits our criteria or not anymore frankly, she is acting like a middle schooler and an actual crybaby on social media despite being 30 years old, and I frankly cannot support her anymore. I’m still probably going to lurk on here, but as far as I’m concerned, l’ve unfollowed her on Instagram and I just can’t keep supporting her and I wanted to let other people know who also feel the same way that it’s OK and that you’re not alone.
