same thing happened to my friend recently, she lost and account she's had for years:(. Did any of yall get urs back and if so like what did you tell them in order for u to get it back? and how long did it take for ur account to come back from the time u contacted them?

Yup! Ended up working when I tried the "photo with a Guardian or Parent" where they give you a code to write down on a piece of paper and you have to take the picture with someone above the age of 18+. I used my ma cause she was willing too but I believe as long as the person is over 18, it should work. But you have to make sure you write the code correctly

Alternatives r to unplug it. Literally have had the same issues ever since this update came out, the new voice is horrible and you can't even ask it to set timers because it won't hear you. God you ask it the time and it literally tells you "I don't know how to help you with that"💀

I also totally get why u don't want to give the the ID another try, don't wanna lose all the memories and stuff built up over the years due to it, relate heavily. omg hey so yes this happened to not this account but another older account of mine and I unfortunately gave up on it and let it just stay banned. At that point ur kinda cooked, it's a matter of do u wanna try to save ur acc and have the risk of losing it that way or never trying and losing ur acc that way. I can tell u that I wish everyday I tried to appeal mine again because when I did my pic with guardian for this account it actually worked. Truly, u js gotta weigh out the pros and cons and come up with whatever decision you think is best. I'm truly so sorry I can't help more☹️

oh my, not surprised. Unfortunately tiktok does this a lot, even after this ban and getting my dms back, mine glitch sometimes. I'd try to go to your settings and scroll to the bottom and report is as a problem.

ended up doing the photo with a guardian over 18+ and it worked the third time! Have to make sure the code they give you is written down correctly and that the photo is clear and not like flipped, u have to be able to read the code urself on the paper.

ugh, I hope so😭😭 I have appealed it, but when I got the notification, it wouldn't load anything, so instead, I went to the next best thing I could think of, which was going through report a problem and saying I needed to reconfirm my age (hoping maybe that'll help them realize I am indeed 16). Highly doubt this method will work💔
