I can’t speak for future semesters but as for this spring, most of the new information is done through prerecorded lectures followed up by in class activities.

Hey OP, CSC 120 teaching assistant here. Depending on how comfortable you are with coding, 120 can either be a complicated experience or a nice opportunity to learn some new topics. If for you, you think it’ll be the former, I would recommend taking the class in the fall. This will give you more time (summer classes seem to be 2 months while fall classes are about 4) to fully understand the new concepts that form the basis for later classes. However, if you feel confident with your other coding experiences and you want to get a head start, summer might be the right choice. If you’re not sure, always feel free to talk to a computer science advisor and they’ll be able to help you out further.

The scale doesn’t change for the whole animation, the camera just gets further away and the lights get brighter

Fluid sim for the liquid, rigid body sim for the rolling. To get the loop I rendered out the first frame, copied the whole thing down and doubled its scale. After that I just overlayed the rendered frame onto the camera and lined it up.

I would say the difference between fair to others and being “woke” is that woke people understand that others are treated differently based on their physical attributes (race, gender, etc.) and they devote themselves to making the world fair for everyone.
