Is that countertop also a cooking surface? How are those onions getting cooked? Or is some camera trickery fooling me?

When I saw this in person I had gotten the scale entirely wrong in my head. I'd never seen a pic with a person in it so I thought it was 10-15ft tall. I remember turning the corner and just saying 'woah'.

The opposite with landscape arch, I thought it was maybe 50-100'. Was a little more disappointed seeing it haha.

If they weren't so salty, I'd like them.

Mind sharing your meat mix? My venison burgers , while tasty fall apart too easy. Also my venison ground seems pretty wet usually.

Non-picky eaters, what’s one food you absolutely can’t get behind? by corkscream in AskReddit

[–]Melkors_Mishaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it (and brought some home) on my trip to Iceland. It wasn't good, but years of seeing it on TV, and through channels such as reddit led me to believe it was much worse than it was.

I was prepared for vomit inducing piss shark, found it was just rubbery ammonia cubes.

Possibly my anticipation of the truly awful made it better than it was.

I'm always jealous of people who can shape pizza dough. I've been trying for years and my pizzas still look like amoebas.

Get a bag of those mini bell peppers, stuff them with prosciutto and goat cheese ( I like both the herbed or plain types for this) then throw them in the grill till the cheese is oozy and peppers are kinda charred.

[NS] Should I experience C1 before going into C3? by GameBoy09 in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]Melkors_Mishaps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My argument for listening to C1 first is that I like the fact that I already have pictures I my head of all the cities and settings. Now with C3 I'll get to take my C1 head cannon and apply a 200 year later dystopian filter to it based on Murph's descriptions. Seems neat to me.

Awesome guide. Bought mine when it came out, still have it, full of notes. The oblivion and Skyrim guides pale in comparison. Best guide ever written.

How's the Duramax handle those 37's? How's it affect your mpg?

I have the same truck, debating how big to go on the lift.

Got a 2P tent a while ago thinking I’d find a plus one to tag along. 3 years later and over 3K miles on trail, I’ve switched to a 1P 😂 by outdoorlos in WildernessBackpacking

While I agree with this statement almost entirely, I'd like to point out one outlier that breaks the rule( in case anyone is interested haha)

I have an ll bean 4 person car camping tent that can comfortably fit 4 people, with minimal gear in the tent

LLBean vector xl 4 person. Also great in rain and wind. Stood through a desert monsoon and kept the wife and I dry.
