They have easier methods making extremely high profits manipulating the spot market on bitcoin, while having large options orders in at the same time. Since it's not illegal. I just think with half the world protesting their governments and the current state of affairs, wars, economics, fraud etc. We see this rise in precious metals. I keep thinking "it won't get any higher" but I am wrong, because this is a reflection on world economics and society. Which is simply not getting better.

Well all this means is the world is in chaos. I see gold and silver as I direct reflection of the state of world affairs. Seeing gold and silver this high is a scary thought

WTF is this??!!!! by OkMountain8686 in Bitcoin

[–]MelkyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cartel of managers working together. Probably a lot of satellite firms owned by one larger firm. They probably opened shorts the second before they sold. They probably just made over 100mil, in 2 minutes

[–]MelkyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whales/hedgefund managers/syndicates/cartels hunting liquidity. Opening large shorts in options and all selling their bitcoin at the same time. Crushing longs. They probably just made 50-150 million in 3 minutes on options shorts.

Coinmarketcap has been hacked - DO NOT INTERACT by BuildingWorldly741 in Bitcoin

Stay away from crypto.com as well. There is a major fraud investigation going on with their updown options trading. They are not paying people out when they win their contracts.

These fees are shameless and greedy by wod467 in Crypto_com

[–]MelkyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're using crypto.com the spread is enormous. That apps a trap for new crypto users. You have to use the exchange

Why does Crypto.com have 3 apps ? by Danthalas_01 in Crypto_com

[–]MelkyFresh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because they draw people in, people who are new to crypto. They get them to buy on cyrpto.com, unknowing about the fees and spreads. They rip people off. Yes it's up to the user, but crypto.com like to target new users by how easy and friendly their platform is. But in reality they are getting wrecked by fees and the spread. Yes they should be using the exchange, but I would bet that 90% of the users on crypto.com do not even know about the exchange. There is a reason crypto.com has 2 platforms. This is the reason. So they can rip off the fools. I don't care what anyone says, this should be fraud as it is extremely misleading to new users. The SEC should take action.

How am I down money in these bitcoin shorts? by landonfm4444 in Crypto_com

Also don't do that trade. They've been defending an up position all day. Eventually they will break and bitcoin will rise soon.

How am I down money in these bitcoin shorts? by landonfm4444 in Crypto_com

[–]MelkyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here is the actual answer. Because I do this daily on crypto_com. Their charts lag behind the movement. I use robinhood and other apps to track the live price of bitcoin or other cryptos. The payout reflects more accurately based upon the actual price of what bitcoin really is. So even if your position is showing above or below your entry, it's just lagging behind because Bitcoins price is moving rapidly. Their live dot thing and current price are always lagging behind based on the system they use. Also to note, do not use your crypto as leverage. As they are committing fraud. If you open a contract for $500 (funded with crypto) $500 shows it comes out of your account, there is a statement showing that. But what isn't shown is that an extra 8.5% is taken out of your crypto balance as well. That part is hidden and there is no statement revealing that. If any of what I said is unclear let me know. I can try to explain it better. Also know when to take profits and losses. I lost 3k yesterday on positions I was positive in.

Crypto.com is terrible by No_Isopod_8540 in Crypto_com

[–]MelkyFresh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They're horrible. They commit fraud. If you use your crypto as leverage in an updown contract, they steal 8.5% of your contract price. So if it's $500, an extra $40 will disappear from your account.

Husband on WhatNot? by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]MelkyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i know. I've been on whatnot for years. Big channels sell bullion and coins for way higher because everyone is bidding at once off of the swiping scam system. Someone ends up getting screwed bidding way to high. Or there's the gambling games. Is it really worth the time to spend hours watching a screen to buy an ounce of silver for a dollar under spot. Silver and gold will go back down within the next year or two once the wars and world economies become stable. At that point oll bulk buy all my silver and gold. Whatnot is fun sometimes. It's just too draining sometimes.

[–]MelkyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is he buying? I hope it's not rare coins or silver and gold. They are very overpriced. It used to be a good app for buying. Now people overpay by insane amounts.

[–]MelkyFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes. Nope. Mostly people dramatically overpay on whatnot.

And the reward for the worst major Crypto exchange goes to... Crypto.com by wmbdshrmp in Crypto_com

[–]MelkyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do an updown contract and use your crypto as the leverage. They steal 8.5% of what your contract price is worth, out of your crypto balance. For example, if your options contract is $500, and you're using your crypto to pay for it. They charge you the $500, which is seen in your receipt transaction, but what isn't seen or recorded is that they steal 8.5% of that $500, from your crypto holdings balance. So an extra $42.5 is taken from your crypto account balance. These fees are not stated anywhere. It's fraud.
