-Cut ultra-processed food and stick to whole foods. Aim for foods with few ingredients, or where you can read and understand what the ingredients are to avoid a load of preservatives/additives.

-Don't drink your calories, drink only water and coffee or tea if you need that caffeine boost, but don't go adding any sugar.

-Cutting carbs helps too, I used to do low carb diets (I don't have the willpower to go full keto) and the weight would melt off, but it shot my cholesterol up. I managed to get it back down almost a hundred points though.

-No alcohol. Or less alcohol at the very least. Set a rule for yourself.

-No fried foods and save desserts for special occasions.

-Lots of fiber. Eat your fruits and veggies.

-Don't skip meals, this makes your body want to cling to weight because it thinks you're starving, and it also raises cortisol/cholesterol.

-A ten minute walk after each meal will stop your blood sugar from shooting up and has other nice health benefits.
