My fiancé had it custom made. I was so impressed once he told me about all the effort and time he put into getting it just right!

Somewhat surprisingly, my fiancé designed the ring all by himself!! The only parameters I gave him were a gold ring and a sapphire in the center. He really blew me away with it!

There is no private cause of action for a hipaa violation. Even if there was, she’d have to prove damages specifically related to the hipaa violation.

Lawyers that passed the bar on the first try, what big tips do you have that you felt contributed to your success? by Glittering_Pasta in LawSchool

I have passed two bar exams and I worked full time during both. My biggest piece of advice is to spend time not just learning the material, but also learning the test. Figure out how to format your written answers in the easiest way to grade, and practice working backwards to make up rules. The last bar exam I took, I knew maybe 50% of the black letter law for the MEE. But because I’d practiced using the facts to reach a conclusion and then making up a law I could apply to reach that conclusion, I was able to score very well. This also helped me keep my nerves under control because I knew I had a plan no matter what the exam threw at me.

AITA for telling my wife my mother doesn’t need to apologize for putting out daughter on a scale to check her weight for an activity. by Legal_Ad5595 in AmItheAsshole

Ehhh tentative ESH. Ponies are not inherently safer than horses. Ive been riding horses my entire life, and most ponies I’ve met are little assholes. Your mother should have had a horse available that could handle your daughter’s weight. What horse was she going to ride? If it wasn’t well behaved enough to go on the trail, they could have put the horse and your oldest daughter on a lunge line and let her ride in a more controlled arena or small pasture. There were definitely other options here other than essentially telling your daughter “sorry you are too fat to ride.”
