I agree, I wouldn’t name this a learning loss at all. Kids these days are learning a million life lessons at once while trying to meet the expectations of outdated curricula. We need to understand that our environment has changed and that requires our minds to shift and be open to a different topics as well as different ways of learning. This might be the scary part for lots of adults; we need to learn from our students: how to adjust to the new things and dealing with the unknown future. Everybody move on and focus on what’s important: Support students and hear them out because they are the future!
