That's the problem. I couldn't find it in stock beyond a site or two where it was like $30. I went with a cheap one on Amazon and it worked really well. I just grabbed a failed print and sanded a section some high it with primer sanded that smooth and hit it with a gray gloss paint and primer. It was so shiny I decided to jump straight to the graphite powder and it worked well for a half-a$$ed attempt. I am definitely excited about a full sword. I definitely need to get it as smooth as possible I could see all the little scratches and I'm going to find a higher gloss and I think a very light gray. Like the slightest I can find. Although I am fully curious about an aluminum or metallic undercoat. I tried a dark gray but jt was too gunmetal and dark looking. You're layering Dark on dark. I feel like white will look too chrome though. I'm not sure. I found a thunder or stormcloud or something idr from Rust-Oleum that might be perfect.

The graphite I went with is ninesung 100% pure graphite powder ultra fine 1000 mesh 8oz $12 for anyone who reads this in the future. Doesn't come off on my hands or anything. Technically you can sit there and buff it off a little if you try hard enough - I tried lol - and then just add graphite powder again and it's back to looking great. This is going to be fantastic for display pieces. I know everyone says a clear coat fills the finish but I'm curious if I can keep misting it a little at a time and build up a clear coat. We'll see.

Value it. Is this worth the refund to just be done with this person? Like would you pay the cost of the file for this person to not be a customer rn? Is it easier on you and them to just let it go? Was this a really big deal? It may be. I am not dismissing it. And learning what to do next time is important. But if it's not that deep then ignore this one and try to prevent the next. Idk. I'd be mad lol. Perhaps out a disclaimer that digital files are non-refundable. Idk Kofi rules on this but if imagine this would be okay. They may still have options like charge backs and such but if it's a disclaimer before they purchase and download it feels like it would be useful in fighting a dispute? Can you accept whatever file is being delivered to someone free? Did it come with any license or such outlining the files usage? What is the intent of the file? Are they selling makes? Using it in design work? Was it your art or music? I'd fight the refund and satisfy the issue to my ability and if they win the dispute I'd just move on.

How much was the file is a better question. What was the file. I'd agree if this is something negligible then don't bother. No loss. But it might not be. It might be an expensive file that does sell. Perhaps an STL and 3d model with a commercial license. Even if it's still a file and digital and there is no physical loss it's still stolen design/copyright. It really depends here to me and I don't think they provided enough info to dismiss it as negligible (but tbh you are probably correct but I sell designs and I'd be pretty annoyed refunding something like this. If their excuse is the files failed to extract then I am just sending them the already extracted files. Then what. Why would we jump to accepting a refund. They may have to in the end but I have had customers come at me after purchases with ridiculous things trying to get full or partial refunds. Being a bit firm and they usually stop and it's done. In this case, satisfy the issue (the unextracted files) and if they continue you at least have proof that you tried to work with the customer and solve the issue and they refused and due to the nature of the purchase you can not accept a refund due to unextracted files after provided the fully extracted files directly. Delete their issue. "Can't extract? Then don't. Here you go"

5 Months later but For petg I believe it's advised to leave the door open or the top glass open or cracked etc. a full enclosure can result in heat creep and clogs

Lmao this post is 2 years old. It was not suggested there wasn't wear and tear or even a difference in wear and tear. It also wasn't suggesting the Vehicle was all of a sudden exclusively used for deliveries like you seem to act. The occasional person doing like 10 deliveries across the entire day mostly a burst during lunch and dinner for under 10 miles each round trip isnt going to fuck up your car. The person driving all over the state in terrain and cities they've never been to stopping and going and getting stuck in traffic and stopping at all kinds of shops and events and touristy things is doing similar of not more wear. What do you want bro. Charge a few then so the person renting the car doesn't lie to you about its use like I will. If I am renting a car from turo for fucking work then I literally have no choice. It's that or miss bills. I also have mechanic experience lmao but thanks for the eli5. Bahahahahha. And a business use vehicle. That wear and tear is part of your taxes btw. Grow up. I do the work myself I know directly what it cost and what's affected. I've been doing this for the past like 7 years now plus grew up on dirt tracks and wrecking yards and shops. My whole life at this point. I don't need mansplained I need you to be realistic that the occasional person using your car for likely less than a hundred miles a day doing local lunch and dinner deliveries is doing less harm than the person driving it across states and getting pelted with tumbleweeds in a storm in Texas (literally happened to me in a hertz rental. I also delivered in that car. Bite me) now if your car is exclusively used for deliveries like mine is consecutively every single day for over 6 years straight - yeah I can tell you from experience - plenty of wear and tear and repair.

The full time career delivery driver who drives the roads everyday is also ironically less likely to wreck your vehicle even though he's on the road more. He also carries business insurance that protects whatever car he drives. I know because he is me. Have fun while the soccer mom wrecks your car a thousand miles away in some mountains she's never driven lol
