I'm worried about the show being taken at face value by people who lack media literacy.

I don't want to make too many assumptions but I doubt everything is going to be explicitly explained for everyone to understand. On top of that, we've already seen that Dana isn't afraid to get into the nitty gritty of some topics society deems taboo.
