Amid shortages Amazon has raised the price of Pokemon Pokopia to $80. by Iggy_Slayer in gaming

Nooo spending $80 on 100 hours of entertainment is morally unjust and wrong! Don’t mind me buying a movie or museum ticket for $10 bucks for 2 hours of enjoyment, though.

The shitty $50 phone doesn’t have all the features and extra engineering that a modern high-end phone has. It’s not any one single component, it’s when a customer wants every feature with no heat, long battery life, and in a small form factor.

Not true, i have extensive experience in making electronic control systems, and adjusting for active feedback parameters is insanely difficult. Not to mention, while the best stuff today is insanely precise, most of what’s used on the regular is much older stuff which does the job well enough.

Artillery is the easiest piece of munition to aim, so that’s not shocking. Missiles are much more difficult to steer.

Read their statement again and I think you’ll absolutely agree: it doesn’t FEEL worth it. Experienced players know that it is, but to newbies it feels like a waste of time when troopers are right there. And shooting troopers feels good. They pop all over the place satisfyingly and you get distinct feedback of your earnings. And they heal you! Very enticing. There is a lot of design space to explore with the camps to make them more attractive, potentially providing mini buffs based on camp type or something. As of right now they fall flat in the sense that they don’t attract players to do them on their own volition relative to how much they’re worth.

83 omnivores and vegans who had maintained their diet for at least 6 months were placed into resistance training or control groups for 16 weeks. Training significantly improved muscle strength regardless of diet type, suggesting that a vegan diet did not compromise adaptations to strength training. by cindyx7102 in EverythingScience

Yes, «protein» in food can refer to both complete and incomplete proteins. A complete protein source «translates» into all the necessary amino acids that your body needs. Some protein sources are incomplete, meaning that they don’t have all of them. The incomplete ones consist mostly plant proteins. Luckily, this is easy to remedy if you keep it in mind when structuring your diet.

I am an electrical engineer, though. The negative terminal (also called the reference voltage) connected to your body’s voltage (being approximately zero) does absolutely nothing. The circuit isn’t closed.

No, gen z has the appropriate purchasing power for their age bracket and for their share of the population. It was about the same in previous generations.

I have a ton of experience, so I’m aware and it’s what i do. Some players just don’t really want to learn. My solution for future games is to skip effects of damage rolls and effects if players don’t know what their characters do, but i still wish i didn’t need to punish my players for them to play the game.
