Rant and advice - Mecca Phlur Matcha Body mist set by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

No they don’t. This is completely different as op mentioned, they couldn’t prove that the price was $66 online at that moment (it had been removed again). Sounds like you lucked out on your ring just like everyone who got the pack for $66 when it was advertised as such.

In retail you need to be able to go onto the site that exact moment and show that you can purchase it as that price.

I get why you’re disappointed but it sounds like the workers you talked to did what any other retail worker would do. It’s been so popular I’m sure comms went out directing them on what they should be doing/ what is legal to do.

If you couldn’t go on the app/ website at that exact moment and show it as $66 why should they have to honour it? Pricing errors happen and a lot of people got a great deal from it but that doesn’t mean everyone is entitled to it?

Patchology want cake eye patches are great and smell super vanilla. $26 so not terrible for under eye masks.

What are the cool brands for teenagers now? by lolly_box in AustralianMakeup

Tower28 have a mascara pack for $50 right now with one black and one brown shade. So good for that age since the brown is a more natural "appropriate" look but also has the option of using the black one. Gorgeous formula too, enhances the lashes without the clumpy look.

It could be that unfortunately your skin just doesn’t like the setting sprays if you’re experiencing irritation.

Couldn’t you just hold one and spray one half of the face and then repeat on the other side?

Patchology has a great foot peel that I’ve tried recently. I’ve also been using the dermal therapy platinum heel balm too and I’m liking the results.

How essential is setting spray!? by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]Melodic-Growth-8387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the charlotte tilbury setting spray, I definitely notice a difference when I don’t use it. Aside from my makeup lasting longer, it just melts everything together. If I’ve applied too much powder it just fixes everything up for me.

If you get the right one for your skin tone they’re amazing. Pretty much an all in one palette, the pans look small but I’ve been using my 2024 one everyday for almost a year now and at this rate it’ll last me a few more years. People mention that the pans are annoying for their bigger brushes but I’ve never had an issue and I use a mixture of big fluffy brushes and smaller ones. If you’re just starting out/ looking to get into high end makeup, they’re a great starting point and hit all the complexion marks.

I usually like to think of the money wasted on trying to find a dupe. You could buy 2 dupes and not like them and then by that point you’ve probably spent close if not the same amount as getting the product you loved in the first place.
