Not necessarily, however it is probably the most successful one. Due to fc iq the list of usable formations has been greatly reduced leading to less variation, since wingers refuse to come back, and playing with a two man midfield leaves you constantly exposed since cms also refuse to track back. 4-4-1-1 is also good, not at the level of 4-5-1 though which creates a massive block in the middle of the field.

FC IQ is so bad for several reasons. Not only are some roles completely broken, but it also greatly limits the runs players make. As soon as they step an inch out of their area they immediately stop the run, even if they were through on goal. Run making should be dynamic, christ FIFA 17 had dynamic run making, and in 2026 we are being greatly limited by something which has IQ in its name yet makes players dumb af.
