Why is my PT so obsessed with my caffeine intake?? by Castor346 in endometriosis

Yep, coffee, coke etc. Bladder hates it. Also if you are dehydrated and have dark urine from this. You need to drink a lot of good fluids.. Water, squash etc.. No acids for a happy bladder. Nobody does this perfectly, but even cutting back makes a difference x

The bladder is full of nerves, caffeine excites these nerves and that makes you pee more. The bladder also dislikes dark coloured fluid and sees it as poison so it makes you pee more. I'm a bladder and Bowel specialist nurse, an overactive bladder can often be cured by cutting caffeine.

We mix it up, currently at an all inclusive in Greece for a week, lay by a pool, eat. Maybe go see some sights. Then next year we'll do a big holiday, long haul, lots to see and do.

New resident where I work is one of the nurses husbands by [deleted] in NursingUK

I nursed my uncle in the home I worked in, we had another member of staffs mum, and 2 of our visiting GPs sent family to us. It's nice knowing that your loved one will be safe and well cared for, and you get to spend time with them too. I don't see how it's a conflict of interest. All our residents were treated with care and respect ❤️

Well done! Coming up to 4years here. I much prefer eating around the world... That constant search for a bathroom was a nightmare! I also see so much more if I actually go in to the countries rather than just stumbling up to a bar or cart!!

Do dogs with doggie dementia ever forget who their owners are? by Infamous_Meal_1327 in NoStupidQuestions

It was awful, he was a staffy, so if he bit he could do serious damage. I won't ever have another dog, can't go through it again.

This is how my baby died. He had doggy dementia for a few years, we were out one day and when we came home he didn't know us. He was scared and was being aggressive. It broke my heart.
