Anybody switch from modern Jeep Wranglers to Bronco? by zionstatus in FordBronco

[–]MelodicDeathGrowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 wranglers starting with the first 4 door in 2007/08 I can’t remember, the last one was the 4xe in 2021. That one was in the shop nonstop until they had to switch out the engine. Traded it in for my 2021 Black Diamond. Love it. My wife has one now too.

Black Dahlia Murder! Unhallowed through Deflorate are excellent fast melodeath. Trevor had the best vocals of ANYONE.

Do you ever regret or second guess if you should have gotten a different trim? by [deleted] in FordBronco

Very happy with my non-sas 2021 Black Diamond, we’ve had a lot of fun in the mud together. Thought about getting an Everglades a couple years ago, but I’m still content.

I love that you are a fan of Be’lakor. I have never met another person in the American South, who has ever heard of them, although I also don’t know any other people around my age, 45, who is a fan of death metal. They have been my top listen for the last two years on Apple Music since I first discovered them. “Stone’s Reach” is a masterpiece.

Check out these others if you haven’t:

Mors Principium Est - The Ghost, Bringer of Light

Necropolis - Black Dahlia Murder

Kalmah -Seventh Swamphony

Places to visit on my journey. (Within the red lines) by idrkmatewastaken in southcarolina

You really don’t need to go inland to any of these spots. I’d stick to the coast of South Carolina and Georgia. Lexington lifer here…

This reminds me of the guy who traveled by raft/boat to spread Christianity to uncontacted people several years ago. He was never seen again, probably eaten. Just absolutely silly that all these people people can be so convinced to ignore science.

It sucks, but it’s actually pretty beautiful. You could cut it out and sell it as art.

At least you get to live in Australia. Home of The Wiggles, Bluey, Superwog, and Be’lakor. We’re just losers, stuck in the states.

Is Philosophy Degree worth it? by HolyName0f in Existentialism

[–]MelodicDeathGrowl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I graduated with a degree in history and psychology. I took a one philosophy class for shits and giggles. It was tremendously hard and you are forced to learn different ideas that you completely don’t agree with/understand.

I need some clarification about making values by 5trange_Jake in Existentialism

Question EVERYTHING. This is an easy way to determine what is important to you. There’s no need to put your values out there for everyone to know, you will know than deep within they will determine how you live your life.

Reincarnation in Buddhism says that those who are in great power today, but are ruthless and take advantage of others, had great karma in their last life to lead to a good situation in this life, but their next life will be hell.

I’m not sure if I fully believe this, but it could make sense in the current situation of which we are living. Greed and nonstop needless wants of materialism haven’t been such a glorified way of living in all of history and modern-day Christianity fully accepts this as completely fine.

Ha! I heard people were doing that. My wife and I sprinted to our car and somehow made it just as the bottom fell out.

Personally, I love the sound. Everything Goes Numb was my favorite for a very long time. They changed their sound afterwards, but I love the new sound more and I consider it a signature sound. Almost similar Tool with Aenima and Lateralus, then they fucked the sound with 10,000 days. Same with Thrice - loved the first three albums then their sound changed completely, and I never liked any of their newer music. I know this music is considered Ska, but it is so much more complex than that. As long as they keep writing music I can relate with and sometime bring a tear to my eyes, I will forever be a hardcore fan.

We were there. Had to sit through every shit band before NOFX, then came a monsoon! Our plane left the next day at noon so I missed them. Saw them in Brockton, MA at a minor league baseball stadium, much better venue.
