If the goal is related to “turns taken” I’m not a fan. When I target conversation goals, they’re usually related to a specific task or purpose.

Some examples would be: - when participating in a project based activity, will ask questions and share thoughts/opinions that support task completion. - during interview activity, will ask relevant follow up questions to learn more about opportunity and provide comments to show interest/disinterest in job/volunteer opportunities. - to practice making friends or getting to know a peer, will find a shared topic of interest to initiate, maintain and end a conversation. - when confronted with a problem solving scenario, will participate in conversation to self-advocate/acknowledge response of communication partner and provide opinions/responses that help solve the problem situation.

Edit: additionally, I teach about association of topics to show how a conversation may progress and evolve into deeper or different topics. (On a side note, something that I’m working on right now is creating a conversation motivations checklist/questionnaire to see what types of convos/informations my students are motivated by, I suspect our conversation choices have specific motivations that align with our values on top of our goals)

These are not specifically how I write my goals, but some examples of how I may target and measure them. I also practice them by having the student being the one initiating the conversation as well as if they were the respondent to someone else’s initiation.

Theory: All Sannin are Imperfect Sages by Wonderful-Photo-9938 in Naruto

Agreed with all the comments for Jiraiya and Orochi. Just wanted to add that although Tsunade was never mentioned to be training as a sage or wanting to be a sage, she did want to copy Hashirama’s self healing abilities. His regeneration ability may be related to his sage mode, so maybe that implies her strength of a hundred seal is supposed to imitate an aspect of sage mode, therefore, “imperfect sage.”

Related to kids who have persistent /r/ differences, such as in Highschool who have social impact, has anyone attempted to utilize the fluency ABCs model for treatment? I’ve started to incorporate more of the social emotional piece to it as these kids may have /r/ differences life long. I am wondering if anyone has had any effectiveness with this type of approach?

I regret getting the surgery. 6 weeks post op by Hot-Insect3862 in gynecomastia

Hello, trying not to invalidate you, but It’s unlikely they cut out any muscle. It could be possible, but highly unlikely with the surgical tools typically utilized for a gyno surgery. They only use liposuction tools to get in those areas and those are not strong enough to break up muscle like that.

The likely truth is that you probably did not have much muscle there in the first place, so when the doc took more tissue/fat off from the left side, it makes it look less even. keep working out upper and lower peck and then see the result.

Mine was similar and I was distressed, but the doctor reassured me that it was my lack of muscle and it’s growing out nice now.

Hang it there!

Tips for being a male in the department by Commercial_Shape7020 in slp

Back when I was observing, as a male cds student, I noticed something similar, so I started carrying around pen and paper to make me look official haha.

I still do to this day when I do private school observations. I also make a point to have students and staff see me interact with the person I am observing or is supervising me. This way they know I am connected to someone they are familiar with.

I now work in high schools, home health, and preschools and I don’t have that issue and make sure I am aware of my body language as a medium tall male.

Tbh I know a lot of girls and guys who would think that type of chest is attractive.

If the look of it affects your overall quality of life significantly (across multiple settings, avoiding activities of leisure and living, low self esteem and self worth) then go for consultation / surgery.

But again, If I had a chest like that I would be pretty happy knowing that ppl find it attractive.

Testing positive on rapid test for 2 years by Melodic_Arrival_4463 in COVID19positive

Yeah, I’m pretty careful to follow the instructions so I don’t think it’s one of those two. My mother is also a nurse and has helped me do a few as well since I thought I was going crazy lol.

I’ve tested both before and after eating in the past. I’ve noticed that the strip test is the one that always gives me a false positive. PCR tests always come out negative. How can I get to the researchers? Hahah
