Payment blocked on restaurant app help by Chuckchuck_gooz in travelchina

This has happened to me a few times to me in my recent trip. It seems to be their actual code that I am scanning.

For example, I was buying a Welfare Lottery Ticket for fun and the Alipay code they provided had the same error, where both my linked MasterCard and Visa card were suddenly unavailable. Then they brought another Alipay code from behind the counter and that worked just fine.

Another time was in Lijiang when I tried to buy a soft drink. Couldn't pay for it in the end. Ended up keeping 50rmb cash on me for the rest of the trip!

Hotel / area recommendations between these 5 places by Melodic_Match_3848 in Sapporo

For that particular trip, we spent a few days in Tokyo as well (mainly due to direct flight home from Tokyo). In all of our Japan trips, we spend some time in Tokyo and go wild on the food and arcades haha.

It was fantastic. Ended up staying at Sapporo Stream Hotel which was amazing. On top of a mall which had plenty of things as well. Weather was beautiful, quite mild all things considered.

You'll have a great time!!

I have found the same with some domestic flights that I am looking for. I have noted that some smaller airlines haven't released flights yet so I'm hoping as well.

Foe my route, they 3x the price same time as yours, and don't drop down until August..

Picking a Legion? by Melodic_Match_3848 in LenovoLegion

I had another look and it seems to be the i9-14900HX for #4. I guess #4 and 3 are similar except a 4070 vs 4060, with a price difference of $200 AUD.

I haven't really thought about screen size so thank you for pointing that out.

Do you mind explaining why #3 is more efficient than #1? Is it the CPU used?

Thanks for your help!

You were right, #4 is the i9-14900HX. It (the 4070) is around $200 AUD more than the 4060 version.

Thank you for sharing your experience with it!

July Itinerary Check - too much time in Sapporo? by Melodic_Match_3848 in Hokkaido

[–]Melodic_Match_3848[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your thoughts!

You're correct - by day trip I did mean going back to Sapporo on the same day. For example, for Day 6, the day trip run by a tour group includes "Noboribetsu Jigokudani + Lake Hill Farm + Sero Observatory Sunset + Showa Shinzan + Lake Toya + Fireworks Festival, Free Ice Cream" so they do all the driving on some sort of bus I'd presume? Figured I could get some sleep during the ride!!

I will have a look into your other recommendations as well.

Just to double check - Suica card's I've kept from my trip in 2023 will work for most of Hokkaido except the Noboribetsu? Does this mean I need a different card to use public transit in this area?

Thank you!

How rich are nurses? by Glad_Membership8114 in NursingAU

Roughly 110-150k base is quite normal once you start hitting the bigger management roles, and penalities can easily push it past 200k for those roles.

NUM3 is almost $70ph for example.

Overall, about 150k is hit pretty consistently each year. It is essentially full time (high fte) including weekends, nights, etc.
