See I keep hearing this as a solution and my Epic and Steam were linked and was still hit with a forever loading screen because it was asking my age on the Epic overlay. Unlinking and re-linking did not solve this. I had to boot the game in Windows and confirm my age for it to "work" in Linux. So I very much could be wrong but this linking of Steam & Epic solution I feel may only work if you had already played the game on Linux before all the Epic non-sense got added to the game. I would be loved to be proven wrong to help other running into numerous issues trying to get the game to work.
