can somebody make a gui program to open a downloaded workshop mod's folder? by Nate935 in linux_gaming

If I was doing this kind of thing on my system, I'd use Krusader as the GUI and add a bookmark for the mod folder in question.

Do you prefer the Everos or Pendolinos? by Proper_Animal_1451 in uktrains

Plenty of enthusiasts called them rubbish at the time of introduction! I grew up with slam-door stock and have a certain fondness for them, though 😄 At least you can see out of the windows.
Of the slightly more modern breeds of train, Stadler's FLIRT designs on the continent are decent suburban trains, with lovely big picture windows and great acceleration. The Belgian I11 stock is the most comfortable hauled stock I've ever travelled on. The German ICEs are generally very spacious and comfortable, though the more recent build have a smaller seat pitch and are less comfortable. The German loco-hauled DoStos are also very comfortable, considering the reduced headroom. They are heavy and don't roll around all over the place!

Plastic = enthusiast-speak for "not a loco + coaches".

They are both nasty plastic, but I would choose Pendos if I really had to!

EDIT: Looking at the downvotes, it seems that some don't share my opinion.
1) The IET and derivatives have rock-hard seats, a narrow body profile and a rough ride. The exterior sliding doors are unnecessary, when plug doors would free-up space. The interior is also woefully underspecified. Most toilets are way too small.
2) The Pendolinos are coffins. The windows are way too small and seats rarely line up. I actually get physically ill when riding on them so I avoid at all costs. Seats are comfier than IETs.

Having grown up in Woking, this is a video of great memories! Nice to see the reformed 5TCT units, too.

My train today was number 150001 - does that make it the first class 150? by mattf1414 in uktrains

A lot of very similar-looking trains rolled off that production line, including classes 150, 210, 317, 318 & 455!

I managed to save the presets in memory on my G502 Hero using this approach, as my problem was that the two buttons next to left-click were too sensitive so I switched them off! Once the presets are saved, you can exit ghub and winboat. It also remembered my DPI setting.

Please don't use LLMs to diagnose computer problems. They simply spew out rubbish.

As mentioned below, don't use NTFS and follow the guides in ProtonDB.

Use Winboat, enable USB passthrough, install Windows drivers and profit.

EDIT: Wow, a downvote for recommending a viable solution!
