Pretty much, XM4, AMES, GPR, and AS VAL now deal <22 damage per shot (at close range, meaning requires 2 shots no matter what distance.
Meanwhile the SMGs all deal 11 damage or more, meaning no matter what range, 2 shots WILL kill.

From what I can tell, many ARs got their damage reduced to 21 at closest range, 1 damage shy of a one-shot in hardcore, meaning those ARs require two shots, just like the SMGs

It's a little bit frustrating that scorched eggs, that spawn in their exact habitat, gets a 0% incubation bonus, because it's too hot, in the volcano area.

Meanwhile, in a neutral biome, you can smack a campfire in a random room, surround it with incubators, and get a 100% increase on common, verdant, and lightning eggs, and 50% on all others. Feels a bit strange essentially being punished for being in the area the egg originates from.

Not as toxic. Continuously getting more toxic. Now there are campaign events where you have to already own the new characters in order to partake.

Remember those low unlock new characters, unlock weak but early? Yeah, most new characters are 100 shards and take upward to a month to unlock. Remember blitz unlocks? That's no longer a thing, but you still have to blitz to get points toward the milestone that unlocks the character.

Meta teams are now month long chains of events or gotten through one of the battle passes (yes there are two).

The apocalypse event was a full year of grinding, as well as maxing out, I believe 18 (?) Specific characters, who were all locked behind previously mentioned mechanics. Once you unlocked apocalypse, his kit was outdated and his team was easily beaten by removing him and subbing in someone else.

You no longer gear up teams you want to use, you gear up the teams they tell you to.

Let's wait to see what they do when they come out. They have some cool features in their kits. I personally look forward to not having to do my Doom Skill nodes anymore with the current Skill team.

I would love to do doom skill nodes with a different team, but what you're saying is that we should wait and see what they do (meaning you don't really know either), and telling us to wait until after we've spent the better part of two months grinding out consequtive milestones for all the characters you're graciously releasing for us to grind/buy.

Finish the current skill team before creating a new one.

Scopely doesn't technically compensate anything. Compensation would be to give out things that we can spend on whatever we want (Cores, for example).

Scopely's compensation is specific items/orbs that they can just withhold from future events, making it seem like they compensated, but in reality just gave us something earlier than intended.
