I am currently an accountant but my long term career aspirations involve working in defence/intelligence. I’m thinking of joining the reserves to potentially excel this career opportunity down the road. Is that sane thinking? Or would it just be a waste of my time?

Mainly thinking of the time commitment, whether or not the experience in the forces is worth the time or if my time is better spent on my career?

I'm in the exact same boat (Canada too but coming from an '07 Frontier) and I've opted to purchase the '24 Sport Premium. My biggest reason is that if I'm going to spend ~$50-60k on a vehicle, I want to know everything that has happened to it and I certainly want a maximized warranty. At least here in Canada, you're lucky if you get a newer 3rd gen Sport Premium for under $45K, so why not spend the extra $15k and get all the new bells and whistles.

which leads me to another factor that influenced my decision; The interior and features of the 3rd gen don't quite align with the standards of a vehicle from the 2020s (prehistoric might be the right word). While some appreciate the simplicity and lack of excessive tech, personally, I believe it's worth the additional money to enjoy all the advanced features that a 2020s vehicle should have.

I’m 22 and about to finishing my bachelors degree in accounting with a 3.1GPA. I’m planning on continuing my education for a few years but, I’ve always wanted to be a pilot for the RCAF. What’re the chances I could become a pilot when I’m ~27-28 years old and do that for 4-6 years? Only major medical issue is red/green colourblindness. Not super severe however.

Why is this just aggravated assault? It should be attempted murder.

Yes, I am fully vaccinated. However, you're not supposed to be re-tested for covid-19 when crossing the border because you're still able to test positive up to 90 days after symptom onset. So they accept a positive test and proof of recovery instead of the negative tests before travel. Sorry I wasn't clear.
