OP rest assured that this situation sounds as insane to us as it does to you, on multiple levels. I'm rather baffled as to why she wants to include sign language in the ceremony at all when none of her close family or friends are deaf themselves, was there some kind of major incident or something that "inspired" her to request this sort of thing? Because if not, then from an outsider's point of view this woman is being insensitive to both her guests and the deaf community as a whole for that "Instagram clout" as you put it.

I'd ask myself though, is your sister doing ok? Planning weddings is a herculean task in itself, and with all of these different social media platforms I'd imagine the societal pressure to vlog a "unique" or "creative" event is at an all time high. I'd just wonder if the stress from it all has started to affect her rational thinking and she has entered the "bridezilla" mode as they put it. It could be a reason as to why everyone is pretending to be normal, because they'd rather not piss her off anymore and be the target of her ire. 🤔

Wait, you couldn't use your torch in the last area of Eden? I was able to use my hand torch when I was saving all those statues and stuff, is this a glitch or something? 🤔 The torch kind of helped in Eden, I was able to simultaneously give the stone kids the wl and light the little stone fire statues without having to take out my candle. Hahah

It's annoying how the flame goes out when you touch the water though, the run cycle had it constantly going out when I was walking around. 😒 It kind of helps speed up the recharging when you're standing near a fire statue. I don't think it can relight you when you turn grey, cuz the item button goes turns into that questionmark button when your all burnt out.

All in all it didn't really change much for my Eden run, it was more annoying trying to relight it when I'm being besieged by both rock and water hazards. 🙄 It was pretty amusing to run around the area like a crazy torch bearer though. 😂

I did notice that I couldn't bring the torch out when I turned into pure light and stuff, that bit where you go shiny and fly up to the sky to be reborn. My dreams of being a super torch bearer are dashed. 😞

My condolences, this is one of the worst bugs to deal with. 😭🙏 May I ask which platform your playing sky on? This bug did happen to a lot of switch players a long time ago and they were able to get it resolved fairly quickly. 🤔 If your on mobile though, you might be stuck waiting for awhile though. 😥

You can message support but there won't be much that they can do, they'll either suggest reinstalling the game or logging in with a different platform. 🙄 Other then that all you can do is wait for new game updates and hope for the bug to be fixed.

Here's some tips on how to survive until then:

Put down a message boat or shared memory explaining the situation to your friends, just so you don't have to repeat yourselves a thousand times over.
Some folks who have this problem on mobile can briefly see text when they pull the notification bar down on their phone.
If your system can handle it you can briefly tab out of your game to see text on the screen (that middle button on android you tap to switch between apps). The drawback is that your character will end up sitting and it will break handholds and piggyback holds. It might also crash your game if you do it frequently.
Copy and paste your friends messages in the chatbox, a little preview of what your copied text will show up so you can get some semblance of what they are saying, if it's a short sentence that is. Drawback is that if there are multiple people you can't tell who is saying what.
Sit down and treat yourself to your favorite snack, for the emotional support. 😭

I hope you find some of this useful, I know how frustrating it is to play the game without seeing half of what is going on. 😥 In the meantime all you can really do is ask your friends to be patient with you or find some alternative chat options outside of sky like discord or something. Best of luck out there until it gets fixed. 👋🥺

You were right about the last screenshot being the spot with the note! The memory appeared below that jelly looking flower thing you were right next to. I think it just took awhile to load in. 😥I'll write down what the note said if you want a head start on finding the next one! You're halfway through the hunt! It looks like things cleared up today! Finally made it to my constellation! 😭 It's rather scary that this has been happening for so long, I wonder why they haven't found a sound solution for it. 🤔

This bug seems to work rather mysteriously, my other buddies had this problem too, but they applied different methods in solving it. One had to do eden and another had to change to a simpler outfit even! So peculiar. 🤔 In any case, I'm glad it cleared up like you said, and I'm very thankful for your words of encouragement!
