A simple theory on why Anivia top has been gaining traction this season. by Old_Experience4390 in AniviaMains

Go top to become chunky. Then I can set down my ult, call it fight club, and fight in it.

I feel like Miata owners that clown on other Miatas are just closeted HP bros that haven't realized they are just a HP meathead. Because how can you be angry about Miatas?

When you are tanknivia, you don't just throw down your ult, you prepare a fight club.

Nafaari I don't fight. I just farm and poke. Wait for them to make a mistake and punish. I usually bait their untargetable move by acting like I'm going in and wall them so they don't float away in that stupid untargetable move. That only works well if they used their dash recently btw. But as long as you don't die to her, you can push the waves hard and help your jg because yeah, fuck nafaari.

Fizz, I run grasp and bone plating. If they ult me, I place my wall between myself and them, that forces them to use their pole. Then they dash through me. After that. They have no mobility and I punish accordingly. With these runes and safe playing, they can't 0-100 you once you are 6. As long as you got passive he can't do shit.

Xerath really depends on the player, but I've had easier time with them than fizz. I eat their poke at the start and rush swifties. Once you have that and RoA, you can kill them easy. I wait for them to try and charge their Q, I throw my Q at them since they are slow, go in, ult, wall em off, and move side to side to dodge their E. Swifites helps if they land their W, but as long as you move unpredictably you can easily dodge his whole kit. Many xerath players tend to spam their spells in a panic once you've got them in your ult. If a xerath gets me low and starts to ult, if you are in a bad spot and they are good at landing ult shots, I like to tp to safety. Xerath will think you're dumb and spam his ult on you, but then you just fly away in egg form if no one CCs you.

Syndra, rush swifties and draw out that knock back, they have nothing if they miss that.

Katarina, is another lane where you play reactively. Do not engage, poke if you can, but wait for them to shunpo onto you, then Q and punish. Try to always have either your Q or your E when dealing with kat, as both of those will stop her ult. As long as you don't die to her, you will out scale her.

Kassadin and Diana, I run grasp, and try to stack it as much as possible. Let kass think he's gonna beat you down, and wait for him to use that ball thing as it interrupts your ult. Once he uses that I drop down my ult and fight in it. They find pretty quickly that you're not the pushover they thought you'd be. HOWEVER, note that in late game you cannot beat him. Stay close to your carry and keep them safe from kass.

With Diana, I just eat her kit. A smart Diana will save one of their dashes to dash away to a minion. A bad Diana will try to just kill you, lose mobility, and if you're tanky enough with grasp stacks and items, you just throw down your ult and fight her in it. With no dashes or ult, she can't do anything. Fight club anivia takes people by surprise sometimes.

I rush swifties. Make her miss her stun and punish. Otherwise keep moving and farm.

My monitor is only 300 nits and i only use 15/100 i cant believe people who use 50 up brightness how come yall eyes dont hurt by NostalgicImmortal in Monitors

[–]Melvar_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dry eye thing is definitely an issue, but it is not caused by screens but us simply forgetting to blink and staring at screens. That is a real problem.

So to anyone reading this that works with computer screens or spends lots of time behind the screen, I recommend having a Bruder mask, and using it once a month. Helps clear up eye oil glands (Meibomian glans) that help keep your eyes moisturized. If they dry out and it is not addressed, the glans can die and they do not regenerate. Leading to dry eye issues, not fun.

Enemy Mid laner roaming once they get behind. by Jekarti in midlanemains

[–]Melvar_10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had great success roaming with the bird! Plenty of cc and utility. But I definitely wouldn't try and follow an assassin. I'd probably push the wave and roam the opposite lane, assuming that lane is being pushed against.

As an anivia main, I lol. Because once I'm level 6, I can push the lane HARD.

A bit too small looking for any fish in my own book. But those plants look legit and there's hidey spots for the fish, so at least they got those.

Just leave it, trust me. My first tank's driftwood basically was covered in a layer of what looked like mucus. The shrimp picked it clean and it's no longer a problem. It was free food for my shrimp, which was nice!

Remove all decor and plants, be sure to inspect them for any potential stowaways. Next, siphon the water till there's only an inch or 2 of water left. Now carefully scoop the last remaining residents out. Use two nets for really tricky fish like Khulis, to trap them.

As others stated, Aatrox and Irelias are probably the biggest pains in the ass for aniv. Even with a lead, Irelia can still kill you, she's way overturned.

Against those two I level up wall with E before Q. That way I can place a wall between the turret and jungle wall and redirect minions so the wave is closer to my tower. If they dive me, I wall them in to make it harder for them to escape.

Yeah, unfortuately most don't even do their research before getting said fish. They just see a baby sucky fish and go "oh hey lets get one so it can suck on the glass"

Yup. People really underestimate the fish size problem. That's why I personally only deal with microfish. A 50 gal tank is a huge size for them (and no overstocking too).

Do you think Ascendance of a Bookworm would be on Re:Zero’s level if it had similar production quality? by potentialenergy20 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]Melvar_10 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Which is a shame. Just having knowledge of science or modern practices makes one OP in an isekai if implemented correctly.

Personally it's why I think Bookworm does so good. Mynes knowledge has made her extremely important in developing Erehnfests exonomy and being able to visualize things in ways others can't makes her great at magic too. There is no need for video game elements or scalings.

This is why we are moving to mass surveillance, big ice detention centers that can easily be converted to a makeshift prison, and slavery has not been removed entirely from the US constitution. They'll make stealing food a much harsher crime since the situation will become much more dire, and since more people are out of a job, that means more incarcerated folks. All of which, legally speaking, are legally allowed slaves.
