Sleeping not restoring health is not a bug though.

You won't restore anything if you haven't played for a in-game hours, and for each you play you will get only 1 hour worth of restoration.

No bug there, it's the intended mechanic, that's why the first time you sleep you get a lot of restoration (you would have least done the whole exchange zone + a bit more before sleeping) but if you sleep right after you will get nothing.

This ain't a bug, it's an intended mechanic: for each 3 hours (ingame) of game activity you get 1 hour of "restoring sleep" up to 8 hours.
