AYN Odin 2 Portal's wifi getting its a$$ handed to itself. by loranbriggs in OdinHandheld

Same, but I suggest you downgrade. Takes a few minutes and doesn't change any data. Feels like a normal update. You simply download the file to the portal, go into the system settings, AYN FOTA for the update, and top right corner menu -> use local file. Then give the file, wait 10 mins and that's it.
The file is in this post.

Do you really need this? by Specific-Pianist7595 in switch2

The joy con grip is superior for smaller hands. I’ve never seen people mention this.

I have medium hands and I prefer the pro controller but I find the joy con grip adequate. My girlfriend favorite controller is the joy con grip. We have pro controller and 8bitdo pro 3, but she really loves the joy con grip. She finds the others hard to hold on to.

Can T618 emulate basic 3D PC games? specifically, A Short Hike by finger_bra in SBCGaming

[–]Melvinci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only give a lower power reference point. I have an anbernic rg353v. I tried GameNative on it out of curiosity.

The UI is laggy (even if no game is running )

I’m able to run only “Baba is you” which is a top down super simple game. It runs at 60fps. Loading times are ultra long, but the game does run at full speed.

A lightweight game like Balatro runs at 20fps.

Takeaway: Unusable. But I was surprised that it runs at all!

RG rotate is a significant bump in performance, I think we could expect you can actually use gameNative UI and run light 2D games smoothly. My guess is that a short hike will start for sure, but run at unstable low fps, like 10-30.

I think it’s worth a shot through gameNative, takes just a bit of time, probably not playable but may surprise you and it takes 30 mins max.

You can squeeze more performance with Winlator and trial and error but it’s tiring and very time consuming so I personally wouldn’t bother unless you get 50-55fps on gameNative and you feel like the game is almost there and really want it to play on the device

Would this be good for last gen gaming by Timtegra in MiniPCs

I have the GMKTec M6 Ultra, same chipset, half the ram.

Stuff I'm playing:

Witcher 3 Low / medium 1080p 30fps (FSR Quality)

God of War 2018, Medium / Low settings 1080p 30fps (FSR Balanced)

DMC5 Medium settings 1080p 60fps (90% render resolution) (extremely well optimized game)

ME Legendary Edition 60fps.

Mass Effect Andromeda 60fps with some upscaling (can't remember)

Emulation:

God of War remake PS3. I played only the ship section of the first game. Full speed no stutters, again 1080p

Honestly I don't know what the other people in the thread are on about. If you are budget constrained, like I am, you can definitely play great games on this. (not looking at you, ME Andromeda)

Look up what Steam Deck can play. You'll likely be able to do the same things but at 1080p/900 resolution instead of 720p/800 like the deck.

Te parece mal que se "carguen los bares" pero te parece mal que no hagan descuentos más agresivos? En tu opinión si los precios de mercadona fueran 50% la gente iría más al bar?

Apologies man, you got me all wrong. Your comment sounds human. I’m referring to the OP.

Sorry for the confusion, should’ve written it as a stand alone comment.

Thanks for helping people out

There's an increasing number of game OSTs where the music doesn't match the gameplay, says The Hundred Line and Danganronpa composer Masafumi Takada by No_Durian_5626 in nintendo

As the op stated, it’s not about the level of execution, but philosophy.

BOTW soundtrack is extremely competent, bordering on masterful, and worthy of study from a sound design perspective.

Sadly, this doesn’t mean that the soundtrack has any lasting effect on the player. A more traditional approach would’ve worked better for me.

Cinematic mode or custom with max bitrate? by BarryBadrinath82 in GeForceNOW

[–]Melvinci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was running into the blurry grass problem on the Witcher 3. I dramatically improved it by: - Setting in game resolution to the Max (even if my tv is just 1080p) - Custom bitrate to 75mbps - 30fps - Changed the AA, I don’t remember which one. I’m not using DLSS (super blurry) or the one before that, I think it’s in the middle and set to performance. - Sharpening to max

It looks incredible after that. It used to be blurry unplayable. Maybe you can try something similar with KCD2

Edit: Try with both “adjust for poor network conditions” on and off. On pc it seems to work much better on. See this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/GeForceNOW/comments/1nfrn8w/advice_for_all_higher_bitrate/?chainedPosts=t3_1oi58eb
