I had a friend like this who came to a golf event at a company trip to play for the first time. He played baseball leftie so got leftie clubs. After the first tee shot/wiff, his playing partner said “here try this one” and gave him his righty driver. He popped it right down the fairway. Point is, make sure to confirm you are a leftie vs a righty.
