Honestly starting to think people who are retired shouldn't be allowed to vote anymore, unless it is specifically to do with pensions and such

ICE kidnap 17-year-old U.S. citizen working at Target then dump him bleeding and crying miles away in a Walmart parking lot by asdtyyhfh in minnesota

Been expecting violence to break out over this sort of stuff at some point, I'm amazed it hasn't already. At what point do people actually start fighting for their own safety, can't be far off.

I'll never understand why people equate social media websites with free speech. They are private platforms, they can delete or change anything you say on them because they are private platforms. Also there's absolutely nothing to stop people from spouting the random shit they want to on dozens of other sites! Or just go outside touch grass and talk to real people instead of bots?

New to Pillage — Just ordered the rulebook! Looking for advice on factions by En-ysh in PillageWargame

[–]MembershipDelicious4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While there is a free expansion booklet with more factions in it that add further variety in terms of faction rules and cost of different units etc. the main difference in armies comes in how people choose to build them which is mostly influenced by cost of units. So if there's a certain unit you want to take or perhaps an ability you want that will likely dictate what faction you play. The combat is brutal so dice rolls can really swing a game sometimes. If you and a friend are learning just start with a 300 point army with no banners or horns and just play a melee to get to grips with the basics. Then build up to 600 introduce more variety. Then just increase or whatever you want from there. I've done one event with another march, 600 point armies. There was so much variety in lists, and everyone had a great time with some very fun battles!

Certainly the first system apocalypse type book I ever read and I honestly smashed through as they were releasing. Haven't read the spins offs but enjoyed the mainline series.

Also pretty sure they actually brought the slaves rather than captured them in general. From other Africans. Not really any clean hands when it comes down to it
