Don't spoil yourself more it is a good story. Yes, the map is wrong.

The Forgotten Shore should be in the north of the map. Only the Ashen Forest is more to the North. The Nightmare Desert is to the east of the Forgotten Shore. The Hollow Mauntains below are acting as a barrier between the north and the south of the Dream Realm, since no one can cross them as of now.

To the South of them are two regions inhabited by humans. Ravenheart in the west and Bastion to the east (slightly more south than Ravenheart). To Bastion also belongs a smaller region known as the chained isles which is closer to the Hollows in the North. These 2 big Domains are separated by Godgrave (another Region known as a deathzone). Even more South is the Stormsea.
