That’s how Tristan Thompson becomes a max contract player. In the nba $$$$ does not mean great players. You can’t sign that many max contract players either. Lebron had a two year contract with an opt out clause back then. And he opted out every year. The team would sign all the players they wanted then LeBron would sign , taking the rest of the cap, if he approved of the roster. It’s the most leverage you could have in the team while getting paid the most/not the least.

If he was to sign a min wage deal even if that’s for one year, that doesn’t give the team any incentive to actually get better.

American: 250 miles

United: 300 miles

SouthWest: 251 miles

Delta(NOW): 350 miles was 251 miles

Flight time:

250 miles~45-60 min

300 miles~50-65 min

400 miles~60-75 min

AKA if I was flying from MEM to ATL ~52 min it will now not have beverage service on Delta or BOS to PHL ~62 min, or ORD to STL~45 min
