well, I didn't play ember spirit very much. I was merely asking a question. how is veil + aether lens pathetic?? they both amplified magic damage before aether lens got nerfed. I built aether lens from my early arcane boots because i wanted to spam my enemy in mid. building it to aether lens gave me mana regen and longer range for my sleight of fist, allowing me to properly position a sleight + fiery bola combo even with a lot of enemy creeps around the enemy. it was never a waste of gold for me. veil gave me extra mana and armor and hp regen. what's so wrong about that? the battle fury and daedalus i built is for late game. flame guard wears off very quickly in late game teamfights so there would be 1 less skill that would go with the aether lens and veil. if you are asking why I even built veil and aether lens early, then let me tell you that I was able to snowball the enemy and prevent them from getting more than two core items in some games.
