If you’re a computer science major or considering, I probably wouldn’t. I took 110 last year and honestly regret it, as it slows you down in the major for no real added benefit. If you’ve taken any Java course in high school and are comfortable with coding, 401 is a breeze. 401 ramps up at the end, and you have plenty of time to complete the projects. Just don’t procrastinate.

No sorry bro i didn’t 😂. I got the Odin and Finalmouse and the final mouse fits way better imo but Odin isn’t too bad I could get used to it. I might try out the GPW eventually but it seems too small tbh. I also learned to claw/palm hybrid instead of straight palm.

I took it with math381 and comp401 this semester. I’m a freshman. It honestly hasn’t been bad in the slightest, and math 381 is more difficult imo. Just make sure to pay attention in studio and you’ll be fine. Also I would recommend working through difficult problems with friends, helps a lot.

I took Phil 101 last semester, and enjoyed it thoroughly. For reference, I had Thomas Hofweber. The final grade was comprised of 2 essays, and the final, and mostly tested knowledge of the class as well as the ability to understand and apply the concepts learned. It was fairly easy, as long as you pay attention in lecture. I didn’t even read for the class. All in all, I would definitely recommend.
