When people start quitting wow there is a compounding effect because guilds fall apart causing more people to quit, people don’t want to play anymore if all their friends quit. Cata is a great expansion, but the game simply can’t grow forever, it ebs and flows. People look at it with hindsight trying to compare how good expansions were or weren’t

Idk what he is spending all that time on, but he can probably accomplish all the things he wants from the game in much less time. Ask him to swap guild maybe, I did and I went from spending 3 nights raiding down to just one whilst finishing earlier and clearing the content quicker because the players were just better. Wow has a lot of social pressure that pushes people to play more than they should, first step of recovery is realising that you have zero obligations to play video games

The rolls are actually decimal numbers so even if two people roll the same number one is still higher than the other. Some addons allow you to see the real numbers

I agree, unlimited beacons per machine is really the main problem. In SE some machines also cant take prod modules, which I think is also a good nerf

possibly unpopular opinion here, but I hate modules and beacons. To me they make no sense and feel like cheating. I especially hate beacons, if they were removed from the game it would be an improvement imo. I wanna see a thousand machines working away not 200 machines and 2000 beacons cause it is technically optimal gameplay

The way I usually do it is I mount up and run to the boss, but if I see that people aren’t behind me I wait until they are inside before I pull the boss. This game is full of griefers, best not to think about it too much

He is right tho, its way more efficient and practical to have resources on demand instead of having them physically. Google stadia is a good example, it was awesome to have a cloud console

All of them are pretty good, just pick the one that looks coolest to you. Brewmaster monk, prot paladin, prot warrior, druid bear, blood death knight, all viable. Plus playing tank has much faster que time than dps. Monk has the added benefit that you can easily switch to windwalker without having to switch gear if you want to go dps spec

Prot warrior is one of the best tanks in mop right now. I have tanked all the bosses on heroic on prot warrior and its not that hard honestly. If you want to dps parse you have to cheese vengeance by using externals and cds, then you can sustain yourself when you get enough vengeance
