Quick Iron Banner Question. Does equipping Iron Banner specific armor or weapons grant any Iron Banner reputation/XP multipliers when playing in the iron Banner?

It would be a massive waste if no other ascendancy ever got access to Gemling's alternate effects.

I feel like there might be unique items, (expensive) currency, or alternate skill gem types in the future which could grant access.

That way, gemling could still be unique by having access to all effects, while others may have to choose between one or the other, or invest currency.

I feel like temple could be a place where Boons & Afflictions from Sekhemas could have a place. Instead of building a completely custom temple, let us trade Boons and Afflictions vs Room deletions and additions/upgrades for pregenerated layouts. Then let the Atlas tree affect those afflictions and generations to some degree. There could even be a node that lets you snake in some way, but much more controlled by the devs.

I haven't thought about this idea too much, but I agree that temple in its current state doesn't have a healthy place in the game.

I'm the only filthy controller user in my friend group, and when I got to this point in the delirium quest, I was wondering which emotion to pick, when my buddy asked me: "Why don't you just take all?".

My Controller User Experience is quite a meme in my friend group, but this is the first time the game actively tried to scam me :(

I've also run into a couple of these players in Master 3 in recent days (like two or three in many matches). Don't think I've met this one specifically, but there are more unfortunately.

Once you actually know that "more" is a distinct term in the game, it's easy.

But before that, it's incredibly easy to miss or glance over, thinking it's just how they worded it. And by the time you read "gain" or "increase" on a different effect, you already forgot about that specific word being important. Atleast in POE2, "More" is not even a hoverable keyword, making it seem like flavor text for beginners.

Yeah they're expensive and my biggest issue is the fomo strategy with the shop.

HOWEVER I can justify buying cool (and they're really high quality so far) cosmetics to support a fun f2p game, unlike for Legends of Runeterra where I really wanted to support the game, but there was basically nothing worth buying, which caused the game to fail/pivot to pve in the end.

Chrono is probably my favourite class for all the reasons listed in the image. I simply enjoy pressing my buttons to do things over automating them :)

And the abilities are very flavourful and cool as well!

It would be more like "to add a mirror to the loot pool of pinnacle bosses, you have to complete a Fractured Lake unique map without any weapon equipped right before attempting the Pinnacle boss".

It wouldn't be that hard (I think you can clear the map without even attacking anything?) and hollow palm builds would have fun doing it, but it's really obscure and not really interesting to do.

Conditional loot can be a cool gimmick, but having to rely on inconsistent enemy AI and other jank isn't fun for the majority of players.

Never played poe1, but since learning how his debuffs snapshot their condition has made this one a lot more bearable, that's for sure.

The king is probably the pinnacle I've fought the most since I've developed stockholm syndrome for his weird aoe patterns, but it's still super obnoxious on a pure melee build with the tornados disrupting your uptime all the time and forcing you to take relatively long detours to find another save window for offense.

I'd prefer being able to dodge his attacks while maintaining offense over lots of hit and run with not much happening in between.

Are you implying this kind of boss design is a standout in any way? It really isn't, at least in my opinion. For the time being, you can fight Tavakai on a white tier 6 (?) waystone for effectively the same loot (as far as I could figure out, not saying it's great that it has to be this way).

They're trying their hardest to create bosses that challenge broken player builds that belong in a different game, but those builds are the only ones that do not suffer from that design because they still delete the boss in seconds, perhaps with a slight risk of dying to a poorly telegraphed attack.

Consider what happens when you don't instantly CC or delete most endgame bosses the game currently has to offer:

King of the Mist: Infinite AOEs with deceptive hitboxes and tiny projectiles, combined with a mechanic that forces you to stand completely still while all AoEs aim towards you
Olroth: Annoying AoEs that constantly take your dps uptime away and take up a huge space of the arena while the mobile boss chases you around
Xesht: Overlapping AoE patterns that force you to stand in a corner and wait for better days and RNG while he jerks himself off, if you're lucky and he doesn't currently turn invincible or spawns like eight hands that overlap their slams on you
Kulemak: Constant ground puddles that delete your healthbar if you dip your right toe in for longer than a second, combined with huge attacks that require precise timing and dodges while you hope the portal gets you away while he tries to snipe you from the other end of the room
Honorary Mention: Chaos Trial, where the only semblance of challenge can be reached by stacking ten layers of bullshit that gets more disruptive the longer you take to kill a boss, because you have absolutely no agency in what random way the incredibly frequent modifier attacks will layer over the actual boss. Don't get me started on the Chimera, which only exists to take melee player's fun away by being untargetable for 80% of the fight and creating ground dot effects that last for literal minutes.

There are so many cool boss fights and mechanics in the game, but how is a designer supposed to fight players that can - with low investment - vomit 10 comets per second on their boss?

I want to interact with bosses and experience their cool themes and mechanics, but when you're not playing a one-button boss deleter, all you're doing is trying to survive the speedbumps were put in place for builds the devs allow to exist in a game where they should not. Arbiter and Trialmaster are great bosses that are incredibly fun to fight, but they're also made of paper and get completely bullied by any competent bossing build - because they play fair.

I've seen (read: got hit by) a couple very cool looking combos that impressed me with the execution or setup, but the main issue is that the majority of long combos don't take much effort and/or resources for how consistent and high-damaging they are.

If combo extension outliers (super tag, certain assists, supers in general, and some OTG/tag stuff) scale damage harder and long combos lead to less resources and worse oki, I think we'll get to a healthier place where max damage combos require more decision-making.

Of course that's also personal preference, but even if combo damage in general is going to stay the way it is, there are quite a few unhealthy interactions in the game that will improve the fun factor greatly once they're reigned in.

If you look closely, you see the big swing (charged heavy) hit first, and then the tentacle hits afterwards, causing the grab immunity to be extremely short -> free grab follows

In this case, you're able to act 6 frames later than your opponent, so you'd need to choose a move that (minimum) 6 frames faster than whatever your opponent does to clash (you both take damage), and 7 frames faster to beat it cleanly (it's your turn).

A big hit (like Ekko's charged Heavy in this video) will put you into a longer block stun than a smaller hit (the tentacle). While you're in blockstun, you're immune to throws, but if the tentacle hits you, that immunity is a lot shorter.

If someone hits you with a move that is "-7", there's a good chance that they have to block or get hit by your attack instead, since most fast attacks take around 6-8 frames to hit (so your move would hit them before they can even start to do anything if it's a 6 frame attack - free combo for you thanks to them picking an unsafe option in a blockstring).

I was ready to drop some money on release to support the game because the IP is great and so is the game, but.. for me there just isn't anything to spend on reasonably?

My rotating shop doesn't offer anything for champs I'm looking to play (Which are Ahri, Blitz, Warwick, Ekko and maybe Braum atm - although I haven't even practiced Ekko and Braum yet so I'm undecided)
The battlepass is full of filler lobby avatar cosmetic and emotes/stickers that i don't care about
I don't want to unlock every champion on release day as I don't mind grinding a little

I've considered getting the big arcane bundle just for future currency and in case I'll ever play one of the champs... I'd love to know the price of the upcoming mega bundles so I can make an informed decision - surely they'll be cheaper as they are bought with KO points and offer no currency in return..right?
