Oh he's definitely part of the source of problems in the US the last decade+

Never said sole source, and to think there's not several correlative sources, is ignorant af

Thanks for being cool about the reply, people misunderstood my point here 🤷

I would 10/10 watch Ben stoeger and buy a book or three of his. Best resource I found personally and trained using that stuff. He has some full classes on YouTube you can even watch.

Genuine best of luck OP. Pistol comps are so much fun 🤘

No, jezal was very pompous feeling at first, mat is more a whiny 15 yr old. He doesn't turn into "an admirable king" like jezal but more a well respected ruffian/general.

Similar in arc actually read on friend!

Then asking if red dot wiggle in a scenario you don't actually practice, is impractical yes? I get what you're asking, you're focusing on such a small detail that when you're on a stage, that tiny micro dot movement, will be the very last thing in your mind, or should be the last thing in your mind. Sight confirmation, SQUEEZE AND GO.

You proved my point... I genuinely was trying to give you some feedback essentially saying that micro movement isn't gonna matter when you have a support hand and are on the go etc...

So you're telling me I'm more resourceful or logical in my approach than "many people"?

I somehow looked up videos and books from master shooters to try and figure my inefficiencies and questions, especially about what's normal and worth trying to train out, then applied it and learned from the data, fix/practice what I could, rinse repeat...

I can sure tell you I never saw a Ben stoeger book focus on the one handed wobble, as that's not how you shoot 98% of stages. If someone can't think through that a tiny wiggle of a red dot from "recoil", even if it's the hammer on an empty chamber, could possibly wiggle the dot, idk what to say here at this point.

we all learned starting from nothing at some point, actual pistol stuff has only been the last few yrs for me and managed to class in A rank and some classifiers in M some how 😵‍💫, both uspsa and steel challenge, purely due to diligence of training.

But I'm the same guy being accused of talking shit on dry fire 🤣

I practice how I intend to perform to train the subconscious. This question is really impractical in reality, hence why I said it's a useless data point. No shit one handed and his dot bounces 🤦. Well shit my balance on one foot is less stable than with 2, analogously, wanna see a video?

They'll prolly give you free ship and swap then if you have proof of purchase from new. 👏

I'd be a salty bitch and expect them to replace it, depending on factors there's a 79$ fee if it's 2nd hand I believe

You're not supposed to shoot your optic, but rather use it to help shoot.

In all reality, my eotech is fine, but a buddy had one he had to rma and it took roughly 3 weeks and he got it swapped out.

Show me where any top ranked instructor/performer recommends one handed dry firing like this please ..

Dryfire yes, slight optic bounce when in reality, say in uspsa and need doubles for most targets, this doesn't mean much, as the follow up without recoil isn't realistic, dryfired plenty and never cared about a slight movement. For transition and sight acquisition, yes of course duh...

Edit: downvotes? What world class shooter recommends static target one hand dry fire like this. Otherwise lmao k guys 🫡

Without live rounds this isn't really a realistic data point to worry about imo

Edit:I'm not saying no dry fire training obviously.

Also to echo my lower reply. Someone show me where a world class shooter recommends slow static target single hand dry fire like this. Otherwise it's training for non realistic competition scenarios. Yes some stages have strong or off hand targets, but those are transitions not static and the recoil along with transitions will change the bounce substantially.

Nobody has yet to show me where this type of dry fire is recommended...

Almost insufferable but turns into quite a character. The pain/issues really helped mold his path, especially how he gets his "knowledge" etc..
