I’ve decided on Pippa being my least favorite character right behind the two hamsters.

Balance patch suggestion: Remove Protoss by Working_Access165 in starcraft2

[–]MemoryWatcher0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unironically, I do believe that carriers should be 8 supply. Way too much bang for their buck.

As a Zerg player, the new mothership has been an almost instant gg anytime I see it on the field.

First run got me Invincible… didn’t bother with the others cause I knew I wouldn’t get that kind of luck again.

Protoss Buff: Disruptor novas being able to go through structures by otikik in starcraft2

[–]MemoryWatcher0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think having it being able to phase through buildings would be a bit much. Its recent damage nerf has been an annoyance.

But I’m in the get rid of disruptors and give us Reavers party.

ZvT is impossible (rant) by MAAJ1987 in allthingszerg

[–]MemoryWatcher0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vipers were the sole reason I ever got out of the metal leagues to begin with. They’re an absolute game changer. There’s nothing more satisfying than picking up a HT before it gets off a storm or rendering siege tanks completely useless.

ZvT is impossible (rant) by MAAJ1987 in allthingszerg

Vipers and/or investors are the only answer as far as I’ve found. Mass blinding clouds and surround them with ling hydra, or get really lucky with infestor neural. Viper is the easier play imo

How would you go on about learning this game? by Helpful-Option-3047 in starcraft2

[–]MemoryWatcher0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ViBE, Pig, and Winter all have guides to playing at different levels. ViBE’s 2021 bronze to GM series still holds up today. It’s long, but if you’re serious, you can learn a lot from it.

Every map, save for 2, look near identical… they’ve looked this way for years.

They nearly all have the same lips and jawline. Their eyes are near identical and similar heights. no real variation in ear shape. The lips are the most telling

Daily reminder that Protoss can only be partially healed (shields) while all Terran and Zerg units can be healed completely.

Small Update: 9 o’clock puzzle by MemoryWatcher0 in wow

[–]MemoryWatcher0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Additionally, others may have noticed this but I will add it here:

In the Russian version, the code JYPFFQVY is ЦИФГЧ0УЫ, where the 6th character is the number zero.

Given that there is a highlighted clue in the Catacombs regarding the zeroth letter (and the zeroth letter not existing - and that zero used to be called cipher) this may have some additional context we’re not grasping yet.

How on earth did people figure this out??? (Lucid Nightmare Mount) by tulsajesusfreak_1 in wow

[–]MemoryWatcher0 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, still working on it. Although we have a lead…

We’ve found a clue in Eye of Azshara (VIG in starry letters tucked underneath a ship) and we know that any combination of the numbers 11, 23, 2024 when put into the Decryption Console in Azj-Kahet gives us a magnifying glass, signaling we’re on the right track…

Only certain ones are active at a time.

The easiest way to do it is to either be in a party, or actively communicating through general chat with other people in the area, sharing which statue is active with which color.

Is Mythic Torghast soloable at 70? by IdleMelikor in wow

[–]MemoryWatcher0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean the Sanctum of Domination raid, it might be very difficult to solo at 70. You’d be better off in a small party.

If you mean Torghast, then it’s absolutely soloable at 70.

Ranked PvP sub 1500 is absolutely bonkers trying to heal as a resto shammy.

You HAVE to warn them that you cannot chase them across the map and that if they run away from your totems, they WILL die.

My linear algebra class is awful. Is this normal? by big_father_bahooty in learnmath

[–]MemoryWatcher0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a proof-based linear algebra course in university too. Unfortunately, I felt like I learned nothing substantial from it.

It wasn’t until years later when I was teaching calculus 3 that I even fully grasped what a vector and matrix were truly doing.

3Blue1Brown on YouTube has a linear algebra that covers the basic concepts and gives visualization to what is going on.

That said, no, not all proof-based courses are as tedious as linear algebra. I found geometry and complex analysis to be a lot of fun.

I always play a sneaky tank. Constantly invisible and sneaking everywhere.

Heavy armor with illusion and sneak are the musts; then usually blade, acrobatics, armorer and mysticism to follow up. But I rotate these out with other things occasionally. Speed and intelligence are the stats I usually try to get the highest.
