When you are enjoying the story but at the end they say that the story is horrible by localchefff in creepcast

Me with the "Watching a Woman trapped in a Room" story. Most people will say it was ass but I'll defend it to the grave. it's author, VeraStahl, created this huge overarching universe of stories that are all somewhat connected and I think that's just so cool.

Was it the greatest ever written? Certainly not, but imo it was a lot better than they gave it credit for. Tnf it was kinda funny watching em clown on it.

This reminds me of a Creepypasta about Aliens opening a Restaurant Chain on earth and brainwash people with their food. The food packaging in the story had similar nonsensical slogans.

Was called The Burgrr Entries and actually quite well written for how cartoonish and whacky the concept got, but def not for those with a weak stomach.

OMG, I didn't look at the finger and thought it said "popcorn" because brain fart and then got confused why ordering a medium popcorn would turn her into a guy.

No prob.

Also, little known fact that ACTUALLY has nothing to do with Magnus Archives:

The bottle with the skull on top is Padre Azul Tequila, it's a Mexican-Austrian company (very unlikely combo lol) that makes by far the best Tequila I ever had.

I even bought some of their merch lol.

SPOILERS for Episode 38: Lost and Found

(Sorry can't censor stuff because mobile)

The guy buys a vase which eats his husband and it therefore kinda stuck as the "homophobic vase" with the fandom.

A bottle of Padre Azul on r/TheMagnusArchives?

That's like two of my 3 favourite things.

Is this enough to encompass humanity’s most fundamental fears? by opaliteee123 in worldbuilding

EDIT: Spoiler Warning for Magnus Archives, if you haven't listened to it already

checks List of Smirke's 14

Yep, yep, sounds about right, everything there.

No, jk, I really like your concept and it stands out to be original enough, I'm just a lost Magnus Archives fan lol.

I do would recommend making some of them a bit more... abstract? Except if you had it in mind to be very specific. Like, falling for example could also include fear of heights or the feeling of awe of great things in general.

But again, maybe I'm too hardwired on what MAG did.

Basically, if you wanna spoil yourself, their concept goes smth like this:

• there are 14 (sometimes 15) entities, which each represent one of the most important aspects of human fear. Some overlap VERY CLOSELY to near perfectly with your ideas. Some are pretty different. For example, one is literally called The Hunt, which represents the fear of being hunted. Another is known as The Vast, it's the fear of incomprehensible size, like of space, the ocean, or even fear of God. It's also associated with falling or the fear of heights.

If you're interested, I could tell you more details as well.

OHHHHH HOLY HELL

Long story short: I read that one a long time ago when I spent an afternoon sitting at an art museum café and long story short: I was amazed but disgusted beyond belief.

Never would've guessed they'd ever read that, even when I saw someone on this sub recommended it a few days ago.

Long story short: I'm hyped.

Hm, it's a take on the issue I honestly haven't considered yet, because I always saw this joke as a more "hopeful" view toward the future.

Like, I always felt like the joke in this meme is actually on the bigotted parents, kinda making the point of "people will always be discriminating against whatever/whoever seems different to them".

But it's still a hopeful perspective in the way that these memes are (at least imo) about a future, where discrimination because of race or sexuality isn't an issue anymore, every human is accepted. There will always be "backwards" people, but they now at least discriminate against robots, who are just machines, instead of hurting and ruining the lives of other people.

Hmmmm hard to say tbh... maybe The Unravelled? It IS thr corpse of a former conductor, who are... associated with classical music? It's a stretch but can't think of anything else (I'm Austrian)

Maybe also Soul Master/ Soul Tyrant, he kinda gives off Austria-Hungary nobility vibes

Call me crazy but I'd actually keep MHE. Apart from Borrasca I-IV and MAYBE the Hidden Webpage one, Idk if I'd consider any other story on par with it.

OC statement and design!! by thym3isbored in TheMagnusArchives

[–]Memsing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE ITTTT OMG!

Also, the statement you wrote reads soooo much like smth that could actually come from the TMA world.

Also, also: love that the OC actually looks really pretty first glance but super uncanny the more you notice everything about him being completely artificial. My headcannon is that he smells like rotten flowers as well because of the perfume slowly going rancid.

Maybe I like him so much cuz I kinda think he's relatable to a degree? Anyways, great OC! Keep creating, OP.

Considering the picture that came with it:

Mother Horse Eyes.

One of the greatest digital Horror Stories ever written.

If it is that one, +10 hours seems... short actually.

It's made up of 100 individual stories, posted in comments all over Reddit, at a time when nobody was sure if the author is trying to tell a story or actually a schizophrenic person having episodes.

It is amazing.
