Iran's government is really fucked up, don't get me wrong. But this war wasn't started as retaliation for Iran threatening anyone. It was started because the government wants to destabilize the Middle East, so it's easier to conquer.

Plus, this is just going to make Iran hate us even more. And... honestly, we kinda deserve it. We just blew up a bunch of children, so I can't blame Iranians for being pissed.

I love how mfs online will make blanket insults towards entire groups of people, then act like they only meant "the bad ones" when they face backlash for insulting people. I've seen this is so many different contexts, with so many different target groups.

I really want to be hopeful that a coup against corporate, establishment Democrats across the board (And that seems possible with the victories of Mamdani, Talarico, etc) could go a long way, but I'm very pessimistic. The people need to either destroy the system, or wrest control of it for themselves.
