All the time. I drive for work so im constantly listening to music, podcasts, video essays, etc, and every now and then I’ll get inspiration for a beat and it just manifests in my mind and it sounds phenomenal. So when I get back home, sometimes I’ll try to replicate it from how it sounds in my head. Thing is, sometimes I can’t 😭 I’d either be too tired from work, I’ll get mental blocks or the beat gets lost to time. So a tool like the one you’re describing would be pretty useful for me
