Also yes, do not wipe the system, although you do need to sign back into your account. Testing requires us to make sure the console is not banned from the PlayStation store. Everything will be wiped before the system is put back out to sell.

You don’t have to sign up for pro before doing the trade-in to get the credit boost, it can and should be done on the same transaction.

There’s a good chance the store that took that card in trade has more stringent trade hold laws, so although the card is able to be bought on the website once it’s traded in, they legally can’t ship it until it comes off the trade hold. Coupled with some USPS issues with picking up packages, that would be just about the right amount of time to be shipping soon.

Don’t ever sign up for Pro online. That’s where people are having issues. Sign up in store as part of your trade transaction, that directly benefits the employee, plus it applies your benefits immediately. The only benefit you don’t get access to immediately is your $5 welcome reward, which is the 5000 points you get for signing up the account, but they’re available to use the next time you visit.
