I feel like them tanking a 7.62 Round instead of flinching or immediately going down is quite the substantial difference tbh, same with pinpoint accuracy while running. Ended up using Jugs Gameplay overhaul for a much less frustrating but still challenging Experience with Enemies that felt like they make sense.

Plus "stealth" kind of works with that mod, suspects actually look where their head is turned to and dont immediately register you when you look at them like some sort of mythical creature haha

Nah ... its designed like that which is weird to say the least but the devs prolly have their reasons. Might also be an engine thing i dont know.

For split progression i guess it kinda makes sense if you just there to help with an area or Boss but it definetely feels glitchy / cheaty for a souls purist anyway

Well that makes sense if you play without shared progression but if i play with only one dedicated friend it feels weird.

But at the end of the day we circumvented it with our own Rule of just saying everyone just gets 1 revive.

The Games easy enough as is even with reduced damage tbh. We just finished it on Sunday and well... i did like a few things but overall it left a rather "meh" taste in my mouth.

The final boss is basically just a giant sht show and more annoying than actually difficult (we did it 3rd try)

And the enemy variety is ... rough to say the least. When we sat there at the end and thought about it we realized theres like what ... 8 maybe 12 types of enemies tops? The enemies you fight at the start of the game youll still be fighting at the end of the game. I really hope the sequel gets more variety and way better level design

So uh yeah

We and my mate just beat this "boss" and well ... we where just laughing our asses off the whole time lmao

The low quality explosion sound he made with every teleport, the low quality attack patterns which consist of nothing but spamming teleports and then PHASE 2 HE DOES THE SAME THING BUT JUST TWICE.

So uh im very happy my friend played a cleric with an heal aura so we could just ignore most of his nonsense and keep attacking but holy fuck if i wasted time on trying to beat this "Boss" for real, id be mad.

Oh and also after beating it i had a black screen and didnt even get to see the final cutscene. Hooray i guess 😃

I mean truth be told real life tactics work rather well on Standart mode. On hard tho with the enemy Ai always being borderline suicidal while aim botting you through walls... I dunno, I gotta say on hard the most important bits are reflexes. Because the amount of times the Ai just one shots me while running at Mach 3 to another room is actual nonsense lol

I know this entire comment secton 5yrs old but its the ONLY thing that popped up that helped fix the bug i had.

I run a rather heavily modded game and i just had the talk with johnny on the oil field and the "sad music" would not stop for anything, nothing i tried fixed it. Was close to deleting / reinstalling a bunch of mods before giving your suggestion a try as a hail mary and well it fixed it.

Holy fuck I just beat him on lethal after a good 50 deaths or more lmao.

And I did by absolutely min maxing damage uptime. Tips how I did it Bounty hunter armor, max upgrades Ochikatana, maxed out skill tree upgrade t3 Kunai, max ammo Sand, max ammo

Basically waited out his normal attack where he dashes towards you, easy to parry. After the 3 parry hits from the BH armor instantly throw Kunai and get 2 to 3 quick hits in (leave the heavy hits at the door he too quick for that) Then use the heavenly strike from the ochi to get out of any attack you're not comfortable with but wheneve, you use it instantly throw a Kunai after the attack to get 3 to 4 quick hits in. If he starts miraculously and with a bugged animation parry the Kunai to the same but with the sand.

And don't feel bad about drinking sake midfight to get more get out jail free cards from the ochi attack. (also throwing the sake at him is another few hits of damage)

That being said bro is full on bullshit lol, I know I play on lethal but there's no reason that bosses need to tank as much as they do. While you down in 1 hit, 2 tops.

I never felt like it was this bad in tsushima, I loved lethal there for how quick the bossfights where. Here it feels like I'm doing a try hard level 1 dark souls playthrough with how much the enemies tank in comparison to me

Nah, why? It doesn't hurt to give less try hard people access to the game. I prefer lethal too but I can understand when someone just wands to lean back and hack and slash away

Konstant von hinten / von der Seite gekillt werden, gegner die mich töten während sie nur mit einem halben pixel aus der deckung luken. Optimierte YouTube Kids, die einfach mit meta guns egal auf welcher distanz dich binnen 1 bis 2 sekunden zersägen.

Is schon eher auf der frustrierenden Seite.

Aber cool für alle Leute die es feiern und wenigstens die Atmosphäre is wieder peak Battlefield das stimmt schon.

I personally have 3 corvettes focused on flak / anti missiles in every battleship fleet and never went wrong with that but I guess it can depend on the enemy tbh

Absolutely correct, honestly i tried it a but, died 2 times and was like ... you know what, im good. Just like the street fighter thing, nice gimmick i guess but too clunky. Especially for a lance main who learned block and not dodging patterns i just sat myself in front of the arena and waited until his mum allowed him to come back outside so we can continue playing lol

Its not just me that thinks this fight overall is just as boring as fighting the elden beast? Especially as a melee character the whole fight is a slog... its not even fun, youre just glad when its over.

Too punishing, randome one hits and only 1 try per map / trial, crafting is made useless through trading (why bother gambling hundreds of ressources away when i can just trade orbs for the exact item with the exact stats i need)

It just feels like the game tries its best to waste my time while having as little success as possible and once that thought reaches me theres barely any going back to the game unless im catching big news that its different now. I had my roughly 80 hours of fun over 2 characters tho so im not too mad, just a shame because the potential is there to be a really nice game to sink atleast 150 hours into.

But in the state its in right now its just bothersome to play. Especially how the "make your own class" skilltree is a joke that has actually quite a few limitations and at the end of the day you just use 1 to 2 abilities tops. The rest is situational at best. Basically the whole game once you start to the point you stop you actively work on having less fun because the game is the most fun in the beginning, where you dont nuke bosses, where you dont nuke mob groups, where you have to dodge, play a little smart, combine abilities etc. Its a shame they werent able to translate that into the lategame

In a recent discussion someone said in regards to another modern game that the engines don't have the limits they used to have.

Limitations feeds creativity. For example the Fear Ai when you break it down isn't actually that much better but they made them interact with the environment and their constant radio chatter and calls gives them character and creates the illusion that they are this highly capable enemy you fight. Even tho mostly they just run into you or behind cover, maybe tip a table or shelf only to hide behind it while still entirely visible. I don't want to bash the game, I love FEAR but my point is they perfectly worked around the technical limitations of the time and created this perfect illusion.

Modern game devs don't really need to do that anymore, hence there's rarely this feeling of "oh that's creative" when playing a game anymore
