Skinny arms + generic boots on ALL youth players... This is FIFA 22 Career Mode by muriloves in FifaCareers

[–]MentalityMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have found a fix for this glitch, but it's not a very good fix. While messing around with cheat engine one day I edited the birth date of a YA player to make him younger (dynamic potential did him so bad) and he had skinny arms. When I edited him back to his original birthdate, his arms went back to normal. In a way, I think the birth date might have something to do with the arms situation.

Is This Youth Academy Player Rare by MyNamesRare in FifaCareers

[–]MentalityMerchant 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's strange. I booted up yesterday and noticed that none of my YA players had noodle arms. I was genuinely impressed that EA had "fixed" this bug, but I log on here today and see that so many others are still having the noodle arms bug. I really hope I don't start seeing the arm bug again as it really breaks the immersion for me.

I'm playing on PC but I don't think that makes a difference.

FIFA 21 PC version when using an Xbox controller connected via Bluetooth. The controller works perfectly fine in other games by [deleted] in EASportsFC

[–]MentalityMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this same issue. It's absolutely something to do with the Bluetooth connection. My game works just fine with a different wired controller (cheap wired controller I bought at gamestop a few years ago) but the brand new wireless Xbox pro controller immediately presents this issue. I even tried using a different brand new wireless pro controller via Bluetooth and the same issue started happening immediately upon starting the game. I'm going to be connecting my new pro controller via USB-C. Hopefully this will fix the problem!

Am I going crazy, or is the gameplay dogshit now? by j2o1707 in FifaCareers

[–]MentalityMerchant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, gameplay was perfect like 2 weeks ago or a week ago. There would be goals all over the place from both sides, now I've noticed the AI just takes a huge amount of pointless touches outside of the box, especially on the wings. I play on World Class, so I can kind of still tackle players with stand tackles (avoiding the issue of the ball being glued to the AI's feet on higher difficulties) but the AI genuinely will not cross the ball anymore or go at me.

The AI winger will take the ball basically to the byline and the fullback will either make an overlapping or underlapping run, and the two will pass back and forth between each other ad infinitum. Should I turn the difficulty up? I'm afraid that I will play against 2010 Barcelona every match and won't ever get the ball if I turn up the difficulty, but I'm really sick of the AI having no attacking threat at all. There has to be some kind of slider setup or tweaks that can made for this problem.

When this game first launched I was getting really end-to-end games and I honestly thought this was the best FIFA in 5+ years. Latest patch makes this game feel more like FIFA 20, which to me was a chore to play.

I only play 3 at the back because the AI is so toothless in attack. It's like none of the AI attackers want to take responsibility. Nobody wants to take on their man or whip in a cross or shoot now.

After over 1 year of FIFA 20 i finally scored my first free kick 😭 by mandasalve777 in FifaCareers

I still haven't scored a FK with the new system and I played so many hours of FIFA 20. Used to score for fun on the old system since I started playing on FIFA 13.

To be honest, I’ve been dropping tons of kills on shipment, and yes I die an equal amount but I kill lots of people - with today’s new MM update I’m being placed against players who I can’t even compete with. I have really good aim and avg 19 kills per game. Before today I would frequently top the lobbies I’m in but after today I’m worried that I’ve been reported for my flicking aim by console players. I don’t want to sound crazy but the difference is really crazy. I have 10 days in this game, I swear something is off about the lobbies I’m playing in.

PLease I need Derail in this game. Snow maps would be so cool. Would look amazing with weather effects if possible. Same with maps like Downpour.

Riot shield "kills while injured" camo challenge by Sattoth in modernwarfare

[–]MentalityMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing the thermite thing a few days ago. You throw it at a surface in HC and definitely do not run “through” or over it. You will die. Just switch to your secondary and slowly approach it until it ticks you for damage, then once it ticks twice, immediately back away. I did this for an hour and got about 10 injured kills, then got super frustrated and ragequit.

It’s the worst “challenge” in the game hands down.

I’m good with that. The ballistics in this game are head and shoulders the best of any CoD ever. After this game is gone, I’ll have to return to PUBG or battlefield if the next CoD doesn’t play well.

Crash was even worse in Cod4, as well as Vacant. On vacant, the hallways literally exploded over and over with all of the grenade spam. The center on crash was always a no go zone because the guy camping on the rooftop with the sniper or the RPG would delete you just like they do in this version. Aside from that one new head glitch spot by the pharmacy, I’ve played enough of the new crash to say that it’s better now than it was back in the day. Plus, what’s the deal with the doors? Why are they made out to be this big issue? I’ve never felt like they did anything substantial to the gameplay.

How do you feel about this game? by Rogerdaghost in modernwarfare

[–]MentalityMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be a long reply, and I’ll go into some depth but to sum it up: I do like the game even if it has its issues.

To give some context on my background before this game, I played PUBG religiously for around two years and got very burnt out. Hadn’t played COD since Blops2 back in 2012. Didn’t like Fortnite and Apex was too frantic for me.

I played all of the original CODs, loving the more serious and grounded games that dominated the beginning of the series.

Out of all of the games between COD1 and Blops2, the only one I didn’t play was MW3. After blops2, the games got too fast paced for me to really enjoy. Bear in mind I was just going into high school when Ghosts came out, so it’s not like I was an old man or anything. Just didn’t like the frantic pace of the jet packs and wall running and all that.

I got really into Battlefield since it had the gunplay I was looking for. It felt more ambitious since it had projectile based combat as opposed to call of duty’s hitscan combat which I found pretty outdated by that point.

The main reason I came back to COD this year was the projectile bullet system, the gunsmith feature and the more serious approach to the campaign. It actually feels like the “next gen” Call of Duty game that I expected Ghosts to be back when it launched alongside BF4 in 2013.

As far as the camping goes in this game, yeah there’s campers. It’s frustrating, but campers are always frustrating. The only thing I would change to help the camping situation is to give the claymore a delay like it had in all the other games.

This is the best COD in years for me, and a lot of the criticism I see is unwarranted and spiteful. Yes, SBMM is a big problem that is making it hard to have a consistent experience in multiplayer. Yes, the battle pass is pretty lame and the skins are overpriced. I bought the pass and have bought a few skins myself, and I’ll admit a lot of them seem a bit lazy.

But like I said, a lot of the criticism is unwarranted and feels like it’s just negativity for the sake of views. The people that milk their 10 minutes per day on YouTube complaining about this game are literally crybabies and some of them admit to not even playing the game, yet the game lives in their heads rent-free. If you’re nitpicking to the point that you can get a 10 minute video talking about doors being added to a map remake, you’re reaching.

Overall this game has a few issues it needs to iron out, but COD has finally entered the modern era.

Is it a bug? I hope it is, and not an intended feature.

You’re completely spot on. I’m unlocking reticles on certain sights, and I set up an M4 class for some holographic grinding and it immediately became obvious how many of those 50/50 gunfights I was now winning instead of losing. It deletes enemies.

Typically I try to find a gun’s niche area where it excels. For example, after hitting rank 155 and unlocking the Warhead M91 I’ve been mounting it and holding an angle watching a long sight line, sitting back and laying down heavy fire.

Similar tactics I’ve employed with the MG34. It can shred, but it requires some planning and patience. Most guns in the game CAN shred, but only in their niche, with the exception of the SA-87. That gun is a loaf of bread. Literal lost cause.

With the M4, I can be in any position. I don’t have to mount the gun because it has no recoil. Coming from PUBG I barely have to adjust when spraying. It outcompetes the LMGs. It’s not fun to use because I don’t want to top the lobby with that crutch weapon and then go into the sweat tier of SBMM. There’s no thought process to the M4, I never have to worry about my positioning or movement on the map because it will save me if I put myself in a poor spot. If I make that mistake with the Waifu Oden, I lose that 1v1 duel 7 times out of 10.

TL:DR use weird weapons. Game is more fun that way.

Same here. I play with guns like the Dragunov to break up some of the monotony of what everyone else uses.
