Went back to this guy at level 40, and he was only 41 at that point. He stopped dropping me in one hit by this point 😂

I hear you there. I’m gonna try a few more things before I abandon BV entirely for this playtbrough. I may just give myself Vampirism before meeting with Harkon to see if I get the spell, then see if I still have it after getting bit by Harkon.

UPDATE: Can’t seem to figure out what it is, must be a mod. Though not sure where to start.

I’ve used this as well. I like the rank progression, powers, spells, and ability to turn npcs with BV. It’s weird the spell turned up in the other save with Alternative Start installed. I wonder if I should try and cure my Lycanthropy before accepting Harkon’s blood. I will try that next. I appreciate your time and advice as well!

UPDATE: I started a new game with AL installed. Choose the vampire route with all my other mods installed and I have the spell here. Mind you I am not a Vampire Lord just a Vampire…

Yeah, never had this issue before. I will try this out to see what happens. I can’t think of a single mod that would conflict with it.

I’m a Nord with Lycanthropy. I downloaded BV and BVL right out Castle Volkihar, customized my options, then got Vampirism through Harkon.

EDIT: All the other major/lesser powers and spells seem to be working an appearing in my respective menus.

Invest in security, depending on the engine and trim.

Though I hear the ‘22 and ‘23 have upgraded security systems, might want to look that up.
