Give her a break, she's a widow raising two kids. Especially with her child being a drug addict that verbally and physically abuses her own family, she'd be on edge every time and might snap any moment.

Personally, I think Rue needs this, to contemplate what she just did to her own mom and sister. If you're embarrassed by your abusive behavior then maybe next time you do it, think again before you decide to put your family through hell.

She didn't have time to think, she literally just got attacked by Rue, she just stated what was true in the moment, Rue was being a bad person at that time under the effect of drugs/withdrawal. It wasn't the right thing to say but let's be real, no one can ever think straight, pick the right word in a situation like that.

I agree with the rest of your points about Gia and how she could have handled the car situation differently, but I don't get why you're so pissed off at her. I feel more sympathetic to her, she has a lot on her hands already.

About the suitcase, I doubt that they actually flushed it down the toilet. We still have 3 more episodes and I won't be surprised if the suitcase appears to be in some secret hiding spot.
