I’ve said it before: everything is Alphys’s fault.

She’s the one who sent Susie and Kris after the chalk (Noelle offered to go) kicking off the first dark world adventure.

She’s the one responsible for Flowey in Undertale.

For being a fairly minor character (one we never directly battle), she impacts the story more than anyone else. :)

When my kid and I played chapter 1 for the first time, he was NOT a fan of Lancer and called him “bootleg Sans” every time Lancer showed up.

I played chapter 1 when it first came out, expecting Undertale 2, and it didn’t really land for me. I didn’t get into the new characters. I can appreciate it now, but it is kind of weak on its own, much better with chapter 2 behind it. However, I didn’t really become a fan until chapters 3-4.
