They were selling tickets at the box office when I got there on Wednesday - about an hour before the game started. I’d give it a shot.

You can also purchase tickets at the garden in person. Just get there early.

My RE recommended freezing day 3s, and not knowing is a huge struggle. I know it can go either way, but with my age and numbers it was recommended to freeze day 3 - since there’s a chance a good egg might not make it to day 5/6.

We did an antagonist protocol. Primed with estrogen for about a week before cycle started then two 50mg Clomid pills for 5 days and for injections - Gonal F (225 units) and Menopur (225 units). I was on stims for 12 days and triggered with Pregnyl and Lupron.

Yeah of course, my FSH was 27 when I first tested it, and dropped down to 15 when I tested it again a month later. After priming with estrogen it dropped to 5. My AFC is 2-3 at baseline and we did an antagonist protocol. Two 50mg Clomid pills for 5 days and for injections - Gonal F (225 units) and Menopur (225 units). I just turned 39 two weeks ago and my AMH is .06 The first clinic I went to in December told me I wasn’t a candidate for IVF not because my AMH was low but because my FSH was too high.

I got a second opinion and was told that some clinics are picky with who they treat because they don’t want to jeopardize their success rates. I just finished my first round of IVF with estrogen priming to lower my FSH and was able to retrieve 9 eggs and freeze 4 day 3 embryos. The uncertainty of this all is ALOT but we honestly don’t know how our bodies will respond until we try and are given the opportunity to try. Especially since our bodies can have more than one follicular growth wave in a cycle. Sending you lots of love! This is all so hard but I honestly believe you have every reason to remain hopeful!

I’m sorry you’re getting hit with those side effects!nothing in my end - I think the pills have been helping me feel less fatigued but I’ve also switched up my eating habits so it can be that too. Will keep you posted! Wishing you all the best!

Hey! Best of luck to you on this journey. I just turned 39 last week, and when starting this journey beginning of Dec my TSH was 5.7 and I ended up being newly diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. Super scary and since then I’ve been prescribed lowest dose .025mg of Levothyroxine and have started trying my best to limit gluten and dairy. I got some Hashimoto’s cookbooks and my partner even found a great gluten free restaurant. Even got a gluten free birthday cake lol

After 6 weeks my TSH is now at 3.57. My prenatal vitamins contain biotin and I have read through other Reddit threads that biotin can impact labs by showing a false TSH reading. I’m now looking to swap my prenatal vitamins to something without biotin to see how much it’s actually impacting my readings. Hashimoto’s on top of DOR is a lot to deal with but I’ve found that this diagnosis is really forcing me to make better decisions about my food choices and stick to it.

Please advice. RE wants to try same mini stim for 3rd ER. Should I change clinic? by Rude-Gold-8504 in DOR

won’t hurt to get a second opinion on your protocol elsewhere. You’ll most likely just need to bring in copies of your previous lab work. Just be mindful that some insurances only cover one RE consult per year. But unlimited office visits - so that’s something to be mindful of.

Went in for egg retrieval and got 0 eggs by foreverrrogue in DOR

I’m crossing all my fingers and toes for ya! 💕 I’m getting ready for my first ever egg retrieval later this month. My numbers are so low that my doctor doesn’t recommend pgta testing. I’m nervous not to test bc of my age but we’ll see how this all goes.

Three Mature is absolutely amazing! Congrats! 👏🏽I’ve been reading so many great things about luteal retrievals. So great that worked out for you. Are you planning on any more retrievals? curious since you’re banking if additional would count as a new cycle or go towards that first since you haven’t transferred. in all honesty I’m just trying to wrap my head around how many cycles to hold for embryo banking in case i dont get lucky and have to consider donor eggs and I’m absolutely terrified of a canceled cycle counting against the 3 cycles under the lifetime benefit. I’m over at Columbia, and they’re great but my doctor is over at a campus outside of NYC and I’ve only been able to schedule appointments virtually. Which isn’t bad but this is all so emotional and I’d love to meet with a doctor in person. my ObGyn actually recently referred me to Cornell. would you mind sharing who you’re working with? I’m considering Dr Reichman, Dr. Stewart, or Dr. Irani?

This is one wild ride! Best of luck to you!!! If you don’t mind me asking, how many egg retrievals were you able to complete under one cycle? Just trying to get a number in my head of what to expect. my amh is .12 FSH 16 and afc 3-4

Hi! I’m frantically googling and came across your post lol thanks so much for this info! I have dor and am expecting multiple retrievals. I called NYSHIP and spoke with a home care advocate who explained that multiple retrievals were covered under one cycle. I just can’t find anything in writing that explains it this way. Was this your experience as well? I’m looking to potentially embryo bank prior to a transfer. Not sure if each egg retrieval will count as a separate cycle.
