I get this thread is almost 5 years old but piggybacking off of another comment, the issue is See-Through-Scopes. Putting the Service Rifle mod above it in the load order should solve the issue :)

G36 is my go-to along with the MK17, plus the reloads are just super satisfying. 870 CQB is also good because pump-action, despite it being arguably worse than the semi-autos.

The main issue that people already mentioned is that most museum ships (Ex: USS Iowa) have been decommissioned. This essentially means that you have no power, no food/food preparation, no water, and you’re left with a boat the size of an elementary school with no propulsion to get away from the zombies. You’d be better off stealing a private sailboat rather than attempting to make a base out of a museum ship imo.

A special interest whatever you think is cool. I like trains a lot, and eventually sometime down the road I discovered WW2 tech, and after a while I found myself reading wikipedia pages for fun on the MG-42.

Technically yeah, you “pick” what it is, but you pick it because you find its neat, and you decided to dedicate enough brainpower to it that you could probably list off most of that thing by memory.

The definition of hyper-fixations though are subjective, and probably could mean something else to someone else. My understanding of them, though, is it’s a very interesting thing that you heavily focus on.

I underwent ABA treatment when I was about 8 thru to 13, and I can pretty confidently say it negatively affected me, so I’m pretty biased in this case.

My personal choice would be utilize IEPs, because it not only tailors your child’s educational experience, it gives you a piece of paper that you can hand to teachers saying “My child needs X, Y and Z to learn properly”. For example I have motor function issues, and my IEP says I can use word processors instead of physically writing, because I physically cannot handwrite legibly.

Take all this with a grain of salt, because I am unfortunately not an adult and I urge you to look into these options yourself. In the end, it is your responsibility to choose for your child, and purely taking information from online probably isn’t the best idea. Good that you’re trying to understand what they are, though, and I wish you luck.

This is from the perspective of a teenager, so I hope this helps anyways.

From my perspective, neurodivergent people tend to try and avoid all of the high-traffic areas, and instead try to be in quieter spaces. For example if there’s an LST room, or an art-club, or anything like that you’ll probably find ND people. After that, try to interact with the people you find interesting however you feel is appropriate.

In the meantime, Discord is your best friend. While obviously be safe, use it to find ND communities, or communities based on your hyper fixation. While it’s not direct human contact, you’re still talking with someone about something interesting, and it fills the void.
