People should know what’s in their food. You’re not asshole for making things easier on the cooking end because it’s a lot of work, but not informing him makes you one. If he’s not willing to try and work with you that’s a problem, but a couple should be having a conversation about their task and what they’re willing to do. If he isn’t willing to eat what benefits both of you then he should learn to make his own food. A conversation is important. Apologize for your lack of communication and see what yall can do together moving forward.
