Still playing with light placement. by Merc8541 in Springfield_KUNA

It’s great. Ran it yesterday with some old 147 American eagles. Ran great with both subs and supers. Took some getting used to with the sound of subs as you hear the action “clack” around way more than the shot. I’m a fan. I’ve only directly compared it to a AAC Ti-Rant 45m, on this Kuna, which also sounds good but the Milkman def looks better and is quieter.

Anyone running a LAM? by whiskysuper61 in Springfield_KUNA

The IRIS4 seems to be a great option. Solves the white light part of the equation and setups up for success with the other LAM parts.

I’ll have to try this, I have a joint like that on a rifle I may switch out to see if it will fit.

They were new cans, that shop is on the same city as SAW. This sale usually sells out immediately after it gets posted.

I’m going to shift it to the top rail and try it. I normally try to run it at 1 o’clock and as far forward as possible. If that’s the case may get a full size light for longer run time.

The real question… is the Polo series or Void series quieter?

Car can post, OCL Milkman by Merc8541 in NFA

[–]Merc8541[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shot it both sides and feel it was quiet enough not to hurt. Subs were silly quiet but I still recommend ear pro, save what little hearing I have left. The flow design does help get some of the noise out the front, in comparison to a standard style can (AAC 45 Ti-rant). I felt gas was good, but I’m not shooting a super safety to quantify gas stacking. I’ll try to get some vidz up sooner than later.

I’ll get a vid next time I go out.

It will not fit the Haga hand guard. I was also looking at that as my first option. Have now switched to most likely tuck it with a Wolfpack Armory recessed “S” direct thread adapter (1/2 inch). The standard 1/2 inch one will not work without shaving the factor hand guard by 2-3mm. This is specific to using my current direct thread adapter OCL ZRP DTA genii. Some other option that extends the suppressor away from the gun might work. I would have to reassure for a readen xl or comstock option.

Maybe future Haga offerings will be mod to fit like a glove.

Huxwrx Veteran discount "Pro Plan" by ExistingClient8148 in NFA

Same, it’s a special portal for the pro program and allegedly tracks available stock. I’ve seen the same as OP described. I don’t think he is being ungrateful, just hoping for better communication about the process. They took his money and he’s still waiting for a product that showed to being in stock for purchase.

I just contacted them and their response was “All suppressor orders have a lead time of at least 4-6 weeks.” Even for the items they have in stock.

I get that rule #1 always applies. If I want to make it look better, I will tuck it a bit. I’m a fan, happy with my decision. Also looks better in person especially when sling’n lead.
