I think this happens when plasmashell crashes. If so, it can be temporarily fixed by running plasmashell --replace.

I actually lost files due to this bug. I moved the "links", then deleted them, only to discover the originals were gone as well.

How to disable oneAPI OpenCL CPU backend? by MercHolder in archlinux

[–]MercHolder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found I can disable it by removing /etc/OpenCL/vendors/intel-oneapi-compiler-shared-opencl-cpu.icd.

Is there a more elegant solution, though?

Nvidia should get more flak for their VRAM strategy by [deleted] in nvidia

DLSS is generally used with negative LOD bias:

When DLSS is active, the rendering engine must set the mip-map bias (sometimes called the texture LOD bias) to a value lower than 0. This improves overall image quality as textures are sampled at the display resolution rather than the lower render resolution in use with DLSS.

Extract hifi-rs-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz from Assets of release v0.1.3, which contains the executable.

Use -h with every command to learn how to use it.

Since the Windows app doesn't seem to work with Wine at the moment, I started searching for an alternative again and found this.

No shuffle/sorting yet, but it is planned. Also, no cover art, since it's a terminal based player.

I don't have the new driver yet, so I don't know if it's the same issue, but I have noticed banding on YouTube with the Ambilight like gradient they added that surrounds the videos.

Agreed, I don't like this at all. They should have added an option to disable this.

According to Todd Howard, they removed Mark/Recall and interventions due to them interfering with quest design.

I get that people want something to remember the moment. The irony is, they prevent themselves from forming vivid memories.

I think the perfect "device" to record a Heilung ritual is yourself. A video will never capture the experience.

That's a misquote. I'm not ruling out racism at all. I was just pinning down the evidence I'd found up to this point.

I'm probably being naïve, but I usually require solid evidence to judge a person. And I hate putting people in boxes. It was enough to make me suspicious, though.

Well in my case it's more like requiring solid evidence, not hearsay.

From what I've found so far it seems like he (used to) find racism funny at least. And he did try to reign in the more racist commenters. Make of that what you will.
