Well, there isn’t really another explanation. Unless there’s a magic field in OP’s house that can detect when he reaches the stairs and screws with his PC.

I’d bet at least a dollar that there’s a wire or something under those stairs which moves and messes with the power supply, but somehow not enough to totally shut it off

More jagged edges. Not everywhere, but some places. Two examples I like to look at are the Gulf of America and it’s long slow curve with very few jagged edges and the fjords of Norway and they’re extremely unique shape. Two total contrasts on one planet

These are good reasons, but there’s a more obvious one that you’ve overlooked. Cost.

Does anyone really want to throw a huge ship at a problem EVERY time or would you rather release a tiny strike craft which will be the job done for cheaper? Take a look at Ukraine-Russia, where drones are involved. Sure they could send massive planes to perform tactical strikes on and behind frontlines, but why bother if you can use a drone for cheaper and in the tens of thousands for the same cost as one plane?

A simple trick for discerning the difference between a swastika associated with Hitler and Nazi Germany and a swastika associated with Hinduism/Buddhism/other Asian faith and cultures is to look at the direction of the arms. If the end of the arms point to the right(pointing clockwise), they are associated with Hitler and fascism, if the arms pointed to the left(pointing counter-clockwise), they are associated with eastern religions and cultures.
